Love Trevor's personality. Now that all his bs is behind him he can actually have fun. Hoping for more videos like this!
I love that he's having fun in Japan. He may never want to come back, though.
He’s got more bs to deal with sadly… only one thing has been resolved. And the MLB will likely never let him back. I think Trevor will thrive more in Japan, he seems very happy.
he was reinstated in January, he can come back at any time he wants after this 1-year contract in Japan. Any team has free range to sign him, but it's more than likely that no team wants him regardless. I want to watch him come back to the states, but I think he's respected a lot more in Japan. @@taesaes701
The BS isn't behind him. Still lost millions of dollars and reputation to false allegations to a sociopath. At least he's been sort of exonerated, but there's so many of us having to deal with piece of shit lying false accusers and many will never get justice or the truth.
@@NaNa-kj2gw He hasn't quite lost money yet, he got the $40 million from LA last year plus the $4 million from DNA. It will hurt him in next year's free agency, however.
I love how Trev dresses up like a regular normal middle class person. Love it.
He likes cars lol
so comfortable? lmao because i too dress comfortable.
He has to cuz he spends all his money on Uber eats and vending machines! 😂
love how they even clipped Muni's "monkey never cramp"
Trevor, if you get the chance, you have to try this test out again at the Sagamihara Vending Machine Park. They actually have vending machines that serve full dishes such as fried chicken, burgers, curry, udon, ramen, and so much more. A pro athlete can easily achieve the calorie and protein goal you set there.
Exactly! Like the ones “Mike Chen” here on TH-cam went to! They have some bomb looking food for being vending machines
Years from now, you will look back at these times in your life and cherish a these memories you two have created together. In short, it's truly beautiful. Stay the course and keep these types of videos coming. God bless Chalupa and God bless TB#96 ALWAYS.
The amount of vending machines and the diversity of products is astonishing. Stellar content, once again.
The cold sandwich in the vending machine in Japan has better quality than a lot of restaurants in the states
For those wondering the Baystars are eliminated from the playoff they lost 2-0 to the carp. If the baystars would've won game 2 then most likely Bauer might've played game 3
I thought he injured his hip though!?
@@caeespo4249he’s basically back now
The season is over. We, baystars fans just hope that you stay in the team and WIN the championship.
Thank you for everything you have done and brought to the team. Just cannot thank enough for that.
Enjoy Japan and hope to see you again in the yokohama blue next year.
You might want to try with conveni foods for survival. Loved Kawa for bananas!
Hope he plays for Baystars for one more season and will the championship!
Just marry your agent
Glad I'm not the only one who thinks this
Don't trust women so easily
Seriously!
If it makes him happy he should go for it.
Facts
Bauer talked about his future during the press interview in Japan on 10/16/23. "Nothig has been decided yet. There are no talks in the majors, Japan or Korea." Bauer listed three critial conditions in his coming years. "1) Is the team capable of winning championships, 2) will the team let me aim for an indivisual title, and 3) is there an environment in which I can become a player that the fans will enjoy."
He's going to Philly!!
The hot corn soup in a can is one of the best parts of walking to train stations in the winter in Japan!
I knew Bauer wasn’t guilty..can’t believe Ozuna is still in the league after 2 times he got caught doing the same shit with evidence..but this guy gets blackballed..dodgers could have used him this year 😭😭😭💯💯💯
💯💯💯💯
Amen…!
Well when Robert Manfred pays a woman to lie about you so he has an excuse to get rid of you there isn't much you can do. It's been 100% confirmed that the woman was targeting Bauer. This was known from Day 1. It's been strongly suggested through circumstancial evidence that she targeted Bauer as a direct paid hit. The link to Manfred is there, but it's not yet proven.
The other women coming forward have also presented zero evidence to support their claims and it will likely be shown that they were also intentionally lying for profit.
His legal battles against The Athletic will likely settle in his favor. Similar to his direct lawsuit against the woman in LA. It's rare these types of cases actually go to court.
Manfraud got exposed by him
RIP to the toilet that takes on the wrath of this explosive exploration
Even without him in the video he stays roasting Eric😂😂🔥
Loved this. Having spent a lot of time in Japan I can attest that they have found a way to dispense everything in a vending machine..... except health food. The health food is everyplace else in the country.
Hi Trev!
I am Japanese and a fan of yours.
I heard on the news that you said you wanted to go to a team that can compete for the championship.
However, I do not think it is necessary to think about that in the Japanese league.
Because these days, Japanese teams seem to be so evenly matched that it is hard to tell which team will win the championship.
Neither the Hanshin Tigers nor the Orix Buffaloes, who won the championship this year, were particularly strong.
Neither team has many players selected for the WBC.
The Orix had a big hole in their lineup with Masataka Yoshida out, and it would have been difficult for them to win the championship this year.
The Tigers' victory was largely due to the power of newly active players such as Shoki Murakami and Ohtake.
Not many people could have predicted that the Yakult, which won the championship last year, would finish fifth. This may be due to the fact that Munetaka Murakami did not perform as well as expected.
Thus, predicting the winner of the Japanese professional baseball championship is so difficult that the power relationship can change drastically with the arrival of new players.
Even if you chose Hanshin or Orix, which won the championship this year, it is doubtful that they will be able to compete for the championship next year.
I think the Bay Stars have a good chance to win the championship next year if Maki can win the Triple Crown, Austin can score a lot of runs, and the newly arrived foreign players can play a remarkable role. Hayashi and Yudai Yamamoto will also grow up a lot.
The moment you leave the BayStars because you want to win a championship, the BayStars will win a championship, which is a common prank played by the baseball gods.
So I don't think you need to think too much about those circumstances.
There may be some differences, but the conditions are the same no matter where you go, and you have a chance to win anywhere.
Rather, I think it would be more rewarding to join a team that has not won a championship for a long time, work hard with the feeling that you are going to make them win, do your best for your friends, inspire your friends, and give the fans a championship with your own power.
And, I think it is more joyful for the team, yourself, and the fans to win a championship with a team that has been far from winning than with a team that can win a championship as a matter of course.
Sorry for my poor English. My English sucks so deepL helped me out.
"Monkey never cramps"😂😂
Great quote
This is amazing content. I try to explain the vending machines in Japan, and no one believes me. You can live life off vending machines there.
Dodgers were eliminated from the postseason because they betrayed Bauer lol bauer is not guilty
Nah that corn drink is a no xD but in winter Japan puts canned corn soup into the vending machine (which has the kernals) and its amazing. It's also hot so not gonna be as weird lol
would be nice to see you visit a highschool baseball team, it would mean alot to the students. And from what i'm seeing highscool baseball in Japan is high. Thank you Trev
Trevor you are mentally tough. I could never have handled myself as well as you did. You have my respect Sir.
When vending machines become an entire adventure....nice!
Next try convenience stores! You won’t be disappointed!! 🤤
You should try using convenience stores like 7/11. They are 1000% better than USA ones
Bauer and Chalupa involving a Japanese vending machine challenge is a swordfest. Even two shout-outs to Eric Sim.
I want to go to Japan just for the vending machines 🤣
You should do a video on clubhouse food when you get back to the big leagues
Bro, I love the MLB as much as the next guy but goddamn you're taking to Japan like no other and I love the content. I'd honestly be a little disappointed to see you back playing basic baseball when you're having such a cool experience there. And this is from a dude who's taken multiple tour groups to Japan and studied the language. Savor this experience and reach out if you want a personal tour of Japan. ;P
LOL I will never try this challenge. Thanks for showing us the vending scene in Tokyo!! haha
Trevor not getting chalupas "a monkey never cramps" reference was very dissapointing 😂
Love the videos Trevor Keep up the Amazing content
chalupa is crazy as hell 🤣🤣
You guys need spend a day with Munenori Kawasaki
Next time, I recommend trying low-budget hotels. You can pull a full meal in some machines. By the way, those mystery boxes in Akihabara have some sad stories.
Look Trevor buddy, if you aren't going to marry your agent. Help a brother out😂😂
*You Sir, are a BOSS*
I don't watch Baseball, nor am I interested in Japan in the least (ok, perhaps a bit) BUT, the way that you handled yourself throughout the recent past hiccup shows that you are a decent and interesting person. Principals matter, especially in a world now void of those that have them...... You clearly have them.
Aquarius is probably my favorite drink growing up in asia. Its actually a Coke product they dont sell stateside.
I'm a pocari sweat guy, but Aquarius is good when I can't find Pocari
@@jaypainespotter for some reason pocari sweat just didn't taste as good to me as a kid. But now I drink pocari because that's the only option other than the ades.
Aquarius is bomb. I had that when I was in Spain, drank it all the time.
Try the Egg Salad Sandwiches with ham at 7/11 in Japan. They are so good and always good in a pinch.
16:37 im dead 😂
Trevor needs to come to the Blue Jays!! Straight up.
Hi Trevor. If you want to try a vending machine lifestyle 😂, you might as well try traveling by ferry. Tokyu Ferry traveling from Tokyo to Tokushima (which then continues the journey on to Kita Kyushu) is well known for not having any restaurant onboard, instead have variety of vending machine, including ones for meals like pasta (microwave onboard as well). I’m pretty sure you can easily achieve your mission.
That made me laugh and sick to my stomach at the same time.
baskinrobbin ice cream vending machine have spoons at left inside of the dispensing pocket!(if it still the same that i remember )
the one with quail eggs is “oden” ,a japanese stew with lot of ingredients.
the soup is made from soy sauce and soup stock made from kelp and bonito (fish ) flakes
the triangle shape thing bauer tried is jelly made with konjac(= devil’s tongue)
it is known as a food that people won’t gain weight
in “oden” there are also Japanese radishes, Satsuma-age (a kind of fried fish cake), beef tendon, kelp and more
in japan, you can buy “oden” at convenience stores in late autumn and winter
you could choose the things you want to eat
also “oden” has some regional difference
Odawara (which is a town in the same prefecture with Yokohama) is famous for salted pickled plums ,fish cake and“oden”
i hope you will have a revenge to try “oden”!!
Yall are fucking great! I caught myself smiling throughout the video.
I have a crush on Chulupa.
Given the reputation of Japanese vending machines, when you guys bought that "mystery box" with the note about someone shaving her pubic hair in middle school, I did not expect it to contain animal cookies.
Yall gonna k!ll the toilet later LMAOOOO
Love the Muni cameo!
How did he find the spoon for his icecream🤔
"That's a shocker to no one watching this blog." 😂
You can buy almost anything in vending machine, it’s glorious
Dang, I cant even imagine. I have little bags of protein powder in a blender bottle so I can just add water.
Trevor however things turnout for you next year I.e, going back to the MLB or staying in the Nippon league, you might want to consider writing a book on this past year’s experience in Japan!? Through your videos you have really shown what cultural differences and you successfully navigated then adjusted to life in a foreign country! As an American who recently returned to America after ten years in Japan, I believe this would be a great way to show and tell your story, which happens to be every foreigner’s story about living in such a great country! With you star power I’m sure it would be a delightful read for the multitude! If your book would be anything like the videos, the book definitely be a “best seller.”
Problem is additional woman are going to serve him in the US if he returns. I’d stay in Japan not worth the drama!!!
This would be much more difficult in the US, we only keep calorie closets in ours😂
I want you to come back to Yokohama next season. All DENA fans feel same.
Trevor really needs to meet up with the DancingBacon peeps... fairly certain they could teach him to survive on vending machines haha.
That corn juice is Corn Soup's summer-only cold corn soup. There are other variations such as tomato soup and potage soup.
New subscriber hope you get a good offer from the cubs this off-season!
That will be impossible since he will be playing for the Cardinals.
@brian9670 god I hope not I was pissed when we didn't go for him last year
Chalupa is the absolute best!!! She is freakin hilarious and always has a good way to debate her choices!!!
trevor bauer back to the mlb
Seems like a regular dude just has a million dollar arm. Love it
With a 10 cent brain.
I love you mr Bauer
He’s innocent. He’s a good man, a stud
I've survived 10 years on vending machines.
Love you for doing this! 😄
Not sure if you're still after it, but there's an edible insect vending machine right in front of Kannai station near Yokohama stadium.
It’s not corn juice but soup haha
Love this video. I just wonder how Trevor and Chalupa ate all the junk in one day.
snacks are key! i’m fitting marshmallows in my diet for oct!
Ok so to help you guys out…
Trevor, you had the following;
1. Zigzagoon (Hoenn version)
2. Inkay
3. Togetic
4. Darkrai (Legendary)
5. Ninetales (👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻)
As for Rachel
1. Umbreon
2. Darumaka (Unovan version)
3. Houndstone (It’s a new one from Paldea a la Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
For the next video, try visiting Japanese convenience stores like Family Mart and Lawson for your three meals while counting your protein intake and calories. That would be fun.
You have the best TH-cam voice.
Hahaha this was a fun vlog
The can of corn pottage says "slow simmered." Funny that the phone translates it as "corn that is cooked."
Great video! Love Japan. Love baseball!
I heard in Japan they have vending machines that have ramen with meat
lmao I laughed at the pokemon card part. "These aren't even real" haha
I've been rooting for the BayStars for 40 years. I have only seen the chanpion once. So I only want you to remain in Yokohama.
That was fun to watch
Wished he asked for recommendations from the audience before filming this, theres are quality food vending machines but a bit scattered
Glad to see you’re uploading again, Momentum(even though the channel is as big as it is because of you)is starting to show you again! Come to the Phil’s, we’ll take a Cy Young
For Japanese baseball fans, there is one major topic you want to know about. That's a look at Driveline Baseball. Japanese baseball fans have only heard rumors about it. It is also a major factor connecting Bauer and Japan. Looking forward to your detailed report on the driveline.
Did you just give homework to strangers on the internet?
@@chaddavis523😂😂😂
来シーズンも日本で会いましょう!
Nope he’ll be back in MLB sorry
I hope he stays in npb too❤
Tea and coffee is better for you, Blessed Be.
I hope The Rangers try to sign Mr. Bauer.
Bro was doing pitching vlogs and now he’s doing the Mr beast 💀
Freeeee the big man Trevor Bauer hope the reds sign ya G
13:47 😆 She didn't want anyone to see her eat a banana.
It was my mission to find the fabled beer vending machines in Japan. Finally, in Hiroshima after about a week in Japan, I found one. I was so excited! A few days later, I remembered I had accomplished this feat just 1 day into my trip while at the Hotel Twin Ring in Motegi. Must have been the jet lag.
When I was stationed in Japan I had a beer and a whiskey vending machine across the street from my house.
Most of the hotels have the beer vending machines.
Pocari Sweat is the best! That and CoCo Ichibanya were my favorite foods while in Japan.
Trevor really is a youtuber, part-time baseball player after this video
He seems happy. Maybe getting mlb offers.
They’re definitely together. 😊 ❤
You could have... You just needed to research it first... There are vending machines that litterally serve hot meals for Coco Curry House and Ichiban
You need to travel to the 100 vending machine location. Where they serve all sorts of meals from the vending machine.
he name is basically means fried burrito
