Oh my goodness, the views along the way were absolutely gorgeous! The longest road trip we've ever done was from Central Cali to Seattle and about 1/3 of the trip has the most BORING, flat views. But this was amazing to see! "What's after Nebraska??...this is why we have Danny!" Literally ME lol!

I'm so happy for you guys and this move but HOLY COW what a drive! Such beautiful sights though, I'm jealous about all of the amazing things you got to see. And that rest stop, you were right. I've never seen a nicer one! The reunion with everyone and the boys was so sweet and Mimi knows what's up. If there's ever a cause for a drink, it's a cross-country drive (especially through Tennessee, a beautiful area but it sucks for driving!).

Hi! My kiddos are 13, 11, 8, 6, and 4; however, we only had the 2 oldest with us on the travels. Everyone did great with the drive. My bigger older cats wondered all around Danny's car - well, they actually went and found tiny spots to lay in. And the little kitties stayed in their crates because they were all over me in the drive! My older, bigger cats are womb buddies and they are 10. My 2 little, younger cats are 2.

Such an awesome video! I went on a 10 day road trip with my daughter that is the same age as M. It was so much fun but even we were itching to get home... day 9 I just drove straight through Arizona to the coast here and got home late. That land out in Utah looks so beautiful. Our 5 year plan includes moving our family too.🥰
I'll keep you and your family in my prayers regarding your move! 10 day road trip sounds like so much fun and so much work, LOL. But it really is such a great age for traveling. She was such a great Hamilton singalong partner!

I love my state but there's not much to see but corn, beans and cows except in the panhandle, which the rolling hills are beautiful!! Iowa has to have beautiful rest stops because they have nothing else 😜 (A little Nebraska vs Iowa rivalry.) My kids enjoy the windmills in Central Iowa. Do you have any cat tips for moving so far? We have 2 and I'm nervous ro move them so far away. Thankfully we'd only be going about 1500 miles.
Loved your beautiful state! The drive was just a little tedious! For the cats - we stayed in pet friendly hotels and let them free all evening, night and morning. We picked up the food and water first thing in the morning and made sure everyone went to the bathroom. And then they were fine!

I've driven across country three times but that was a long time ago last big one was from Oregon to Florida. Did your cats howl the whole time? Mine did
No! They were SO GOOD!!!
How did the cats take care of there business. Lol
We let the cats roam the hotel room at night with food and water and their litter box. We picked up their food and water in the morning so they wouldn't need to use the bathroom much during the day. We put a little litter in the box when we would stop throughout the day and then dump it before we left the rest stop.
