Y’know, I’m not sure how to describe Astral Train other than “Angry crying instruments”, the violin kinda sounds like someone weeping, not out of sadness, but out of rage
i think thats a fairly accurate description. to me, the violin sounds emotional, but since its more upbeat and fast with the crashing symbols, it sounds like a mix of melancholy and anger. especially when it hits that high note.
This was the soundtrack I listened to while drawing. Very motivating, and I'm slowly falling down the NITW trash hole. Aaa, I just love this game and everything it offers so much! UT an NITW are NOTHING alike. NITW is a sort of coming of age story mixed in with (frankly forced) lovecraftian horror. UT is a game that uses game mechanics as storytelling devices, and also a game that subverts expectations and fucks with the play immensely. Seriously, where are the comparisons here?
+Ridley On Steroids Ut tells a story, but NITW is _just_ a story; albeit not the best, however the characters are very well-written (aside of dabbing levels of cringe in some parts) Ut is a very very very very very very light "RPG" and NITW is essentially a walking simulation.
