  • Deep in the Flinders Ranges, at my favourite tree, we create a rather simple bit of light painting under a huge milky way.
    These are my favourite nights out, with great friends, super remote and having a blast.
    For more light painting fun visit www.denissmith...
    Peace, Denis

    Thk you for the TUTORIAL...many times on YT it's a quick how to but not in depth..Your explanations make me want to not composite anymore. I would LOVE to see you try this with Nikon, or other, as Olympus is another system and would be difficult to switch over to and learn. Hard part is trying to find mates who like to shoot night/light paintings around here.

      Hi Randy, thank you. I shoot this type of work with other systems as well for sure. glad you enjoy. Peace

      One question I forgot to ask, was the torch behind the tree left on all the time or were you able to trigger it on and off?

    • @SCHOOLOFLIGHT
      @SCHOOLOFLIGHT  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Andrew, the torches stay on all the time, I just adjust the power accordingly. I am happy you are enjoying the channel.

    Hi Dennis , being keen lightpainters we enjoy your School of Light tremendously!
    We´re going to Dark Sky Park "Lauwersmeer" over here in The Netherlands next week hoping to catch the milky way and do some lightpainting.
    Your video (like all the others) is a very good guideline for us, thank you!

    Agree with you on composites - when starting I did use composites but felt uncomfortable wither and would rather be 'pure'. Now have more confidence in long exposures....Great video.

    Great video and pic Denis. You planning on making any videos on your EL wire images? I'm planning on trying some wire and astro over the next couple of weekends (covid permitting)

    • @SCHOOLOFLIGHT
      @SCHOOLOFLIGHT  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Luke. I hope you are well mate. This is a (rare) personal project that has taken me a looooong time to get close to being right. So I will be keeping this one for me. You can just grab some wire and have a play, thats half the fun. PEace
