    M/S of airmen in reading room of an RAF (Royal Air Force) Hospital. A jolly looking woman hands out books to jovial airmen. Various shots of two men hanging from wall bars in hospital gymnasium. A doctor supervises them as they do physiotherapy exercises. M/S of three men playing gentle game of football (two are on crutches). M/S of circle of men playing catch with a medicine ball.
    We see nurses and some of the more able patients running out of hospital and onto snow covered lawn. Great shots of snow ball fight between airmen patients and nurses. Lots of flirting - one of the airmen scoops up one of the nurses in his arms!

    Various shots of a Spitfire being refuelled and loaded with bullets on a snow covered airfield. Various shots of pilots running across the snow to their aircraft. Various shots of the fighter pilots putting on their parachutes and climbing into their aircraft. Panning C/U of some of the airmen : Flight Lieutenant Blatchford, Squadron Leader Stanford Tuck and Flying Officer Martin. Various shots of three Spitfires taking off from the snow covered aerodrome. The aeroplanes are a gift from the people of Burma, hence their name - The Burma Squadron.
