Film Synopsis:
Patrick Swayze, John Leguizamo and Wesley Snipes star in this hilarious adventure about three professional drag queens on the cross-country road trip of a lifetime. On their way to Hollywood for a drag queen beauty pageant, Vida (Swayze), Chi Chi (Leguizamo) and Noxeema (Snipes) get stranded in the tiny Midwestern town of Snydersville. Determined to make the best of a bad situation, the “girls” set out to repair the broken hearts, broken dreams and broken nails of the small-town residents during one wildly outrageous weekend.

Aw, hubby and I used to watch this together when my body was aching from arthritis. It was our feel good movie and he would hold me. He passed recently from covid effects. I'm so sad and miss him so much. He was an awesome man. 💔 love never dies.

I love to imagine the future strawberry festivals and one day it's huge and drag queens from all over the world congregate in this once tiny town to celebrate it.

Miss Clara and Noxema are the cutest relationship in the movie! I used to watch the mess out of this... there's so much heart, definitely a feel good cult classic!
I love how the town protected them in the end! I'd do the same thing 🙂 Chi Chi, Vida and Noxxy weren't hurting anyone or anything. They were very sweet thoughtful people
It is amazing how Wesley Snipes and Patrick Swayze can act so perfectly as drag queens, when they played so many macho action movie characters. Very impressive.
They are so fabulous and adorable at the same time!
What about John Leguizamo? He had roles as drug dealers in some of his movies. Swayze said that other A-lister actors wanted to be cast too. I think they wanted the challenge to be able to pull that stunt off. Being an action star is easy but acting like a drag queen and be believable as one is a whole another level of skills.
Look up the video, John Leguizamo went to the Saturday night drag show at Escuelita nightclub in NYC and got to know the drag circuit very well before filming started, those are his own words he wanted to do the part justice
I love this movie! I think this is the best role Patrick Swayze played💗 Wesley Snipes and John Leguizamo were also great surprises....who would've ever thought about casting those 3 for this movie??

Hands down top 5 of my faves! My son discovered drag QWEENS at a young age lol as I was watching and he was sneaking! He gave himself away when he asked me ‘mama are those men in dresses?’ You! We’re supposed to be asleep! He’s 41 now and we watch all the makeup shows an drag shows and he was impressed with Patrick Swaze coz I went to dance school at his moms studio which was literally couple blocks from my house! I walked to lessons lol. Yes, I saw him regularly and he wasn’t my cup of tea so he appreciated my genuine friendship coz I wasn’t wanting anything from him . If I’d ONLY known lmao but I’m attracted to brunettes and cracked him up when he asked me why I was different!!! 🙏🏻❤️

I love this movie and the ending because that’s all they want is acceptance. I went to comic con and seen the most beautiful Maleficent. Was a drag queen so I did the most logical thing , told the drag queen beautiful getup, and asked if I can take a picture.
