A the age of 86, I purchased this serger but haven’t used it for a while. When I started a new project, unfortunately, thread immediately broke. Your video was so clear and helpful - MADE MYDAY! Thank you so much.
Thank you so much, this made my Mothers Day (a gift from my son) very special. I opened up the box this morning and having never used a serger before, it took me awhile. This video plus the manual made it happen.
hello Jan very nicely done video but you can cut the old thread at the spool and put the new thread on and tie a knot pull the new thread Into and out without having to rethred it ?😊
I used to do that but they don't recommend it anymore as it stresses the tension guide. If you do, just pullthe thread out of the tension guide and then pull.
I just always cut old threads long - near the spools, knot them to new threads, and serge them through. I catch the needle thread when the knot comes out, cut, and rethread needle. I do that in all my machines.

My word I would love a server, but it looks a. It confusing to me, hence I don’t have one. Thank you for your tips.
They really aren't complicated. Perhaps someday you can try one.
Very familiar with serger and know how to thread it
Wonderful.
I am thinking of buying this serger, do you still love it after 1 year of using it? Any cons to consider?
I have had several sergers over the years. The best one yet has been a Babylock. I love having one!!!!! So worth your money.
I’m buying one it threads self. Omg 😳
It makes the world of difference, and worth it!!!!

Some have recommended using rubber shelf liner under your foot. You could also use a small carpet sample.
I fight with mine
What kind of serger do you have?
