That's an interesting little predictive criteria. He says "There aren't always a lot of trading opportunities", and I agree ... conditions have to be in a "sweet spot" to make a trade on this. But that's good for beginners, as they need to be picking their punches very carefully and doing a lot of observation.

Got to be careful with trading daily open on daily time frame. Those long tails show a long move in the opposite direction which means a lot of sitting in the red with no guarantee of it coming back. You'd be far better to wait until it goes in the right direction after the initial open rather than just expecting it to.

Which specific financial instruments is this supposed to work with? What date ranges were tested? Was slippage factored in?
I tested this for the SP500 ETF 'IVV' without slippage from Oct 2009 to current and the win % is 64.10%. With slippage, it is ~60%. I also tested over individual SP500 stocks over the same date range and the win% is ~60%. That is, your system does not appear to perform anywhere near the win rate you mention.

Just to clarify... this trading strategy only works with SPY? Or, can it be applied to individual stocks as well? I just looked at the recent 5-day trading range for SPY and the RSI 10 dropped below 30 on Nov 10 but then went back above 40 before close that day. How much money can a person realistically make using this strategy if/when the window between entry and exit is so short? If this strategy can be applied to individual stocks does it make more sense to target those with high IV?

It would help if you so showed us examples of when the pattern fails. We could compare and see if we’re actually doing this right or if we missed something. Also, 36 trades are too small a sample pool to have a solid grasp as to the actual success rate. Any chance of doing a few more and update to see how it goes?
Thank you very much for the videos and information. Truly appreciated :)

also, you must have done the strategy wrong because on 2/20/20, the RSI showed that SPY was way overbought. It was not in the range to buy yet until 2/26/20. 2/25/20 showed that SPY was under bought which gives you confirmation to buy the next day.

Set up a scan to find stocks that are crossing ABOVE the 30 RSI - also make sure the average daily volume is above 250,000! I've been using this strategy for several years and it works great. Sometimes you have to wait several days but one of the keys is to make sure it's crossing ABOVE the 30 RSI. A stock can remain oversold (below 30 RSI) for a long period of time, which can cause you to lose money. Once I enter the trade I start using the bollinger bands and hold until the price approaches the upper band.

its important to understand that trading is about winning and losing and there is always risk involved. in some cases, you could more than your initial investment on a trade if not done properly . There are no easy strategies which are going to make you rich over night, as trading is not a 'get rich quick scheme' however through trial and error over time experts like Mr wilson have sprung unto the scene with suitable styles and strategies that have proven to work over and over again. Mr wilson understands the risk of trading enabling him to reduce losses to next to nothing . if you need help trading either cause you cant or can not make consistent profits i would recommend you contact Mr wilson for help, 1 9 1 7 5 63 8 3 3 8 , text him on WhatsApp

All of these rules are the basic any trader should know.
But, if you're a swing trader or buy-hold investor, in my experience, waiting for RSI to dip below 30 (and for shorter period), you might as well never buy the stock... especially if it's on bullish run and you're trying to catch up. I don't recall ever bought any stock at bottom. But because I don't day trade, I ride along the graph and eventually prices are higher.

If it is a long term winning strategy how do i size my trades to avoid volatility wipe out? How long if i lose does it take me to get money back? Those are the questions that must be answered. You can back test these strategies (video maker must have got his # from somewhere) but one more question; what happens when everyone uses this strategy? Will it be easier or harder to have predicted outcomes?

People with small accounts could easily get stopped out and lose a lot money following this. Even without being stopped out sometimes it takes 10-14 days to start going back up.
