Blame Harmony Gold for that. The last exciting Macross I watched was "Macross Frontier" and the even better "Macross Zero" prequel. Macross nowadays, I don't know what to call it, but it's just not as good as it used to be.😮💨

Roy Fokker,Rick Hunter,Lisa Hayes,Claudia Grant,Max Sterling,MIria ( as a Zentraedi and a micronian ) I remember paying $15 USD back in 1985 at the Japanese Import Collectibles store for them. This was when Star Wars figures were going for $5.95 USD. My Scott Bernard 1 / 6 scale figure with Cyclone motorcycle that can be transformed cost me $39.95 USD in 1985.

Que lindo ver fragmentos así, me llevan a mi niñez y ver en tv que en los 80' promocionarán que próximamente por nueva serie de dibujos animados. Se llamaría ROBOTECH en Argentina. Yo venía de ver todos mis días a bugs bunny, correcaminos, pantera rosa, Tom y Jerry, etc... tantas así onda caricaturas, lo más parecido a dibujos real podría tratarse de heamen.... Pero, y de la nada, y de repente... aparece Robotech. Con todos dibujos de personas reales, batallas áreas tan intensas, historias atrapantes, personajes (a veces protagonistas) que podria morir, cosa que en las caricaturas era todo infantil. Como me atrapó esa serie, vi todos los capítulos los grabé vi sus películas los reviví ya de grande. Hoy a mi adultez los recuerdo con nostalgias me trasladan a los tiempos y lugares los más bonitos de mi vida...
I was a total Robotech nerd. That show , TOP GUN and a couple other shows motivated me to get my pilots license. Heck I use to listen to the Top Gun sound track on the way to the airfield. I had the movie on loop while I was doing some last minute cramming for the exam. I passed of course.
I never got around to watching the originals, but I loved watching the Harmony Gold dubbed versions after school every day back in the 80s. I almost prefer the dubbed version because it just sounds weird hearing the original voice actors and the character names. I'm used to Rick, Lisa, Claudia, and Roy. I also prefer the Robotech opening theme better.
It was a pretty big transformer too. He was like a foot tall if I remember correctly. Just like the Robotech fighters. He was a later edition in the original transformers cartoon. I think he was originally a decepticon and became an auto bot. Can't believe I remember all this shit. I'm 46 so Def remember all those old cartoons.

Por esto tiene estilos tan diferentes dentro de la misma serie. Únicamente la primera parte, la de "Rick Hunter" es realmente Macross. Luego en Japón sacaron secuelas de Macross que ignoran totalmente lo que le agregaron de las otras series en Robotech.

Robotech or Macross, wish we had that aircraft in reality. The closest reality i had is F-14 Tomcat back in the 70s and 80s. One day Japan and U.S will have these type of aircraft soon. This is one of my absolute favorite Japanese anime shows and concepts, Macross - Robotech, I have only two of the aircraft models and wish I could have bought more when they first came out. I just love the idea of a vehicle that's able to change into other weapons.
I just loved how you used the Top Gun theme music and the Robotic Macross Valkyrie/ Veritech robots jets it's has been my favorite cartoon since I was a child and I was born in the 70's and when I first saw them I have always wanted one of those jets as my own personal jet the skull squadron was my favorite one I hope they come out with a updated cartoon of it and Thank you you made me smile and keep up the amazing work 😊😊😊😊

ガウォークが垂直に浮き上がってホバリングからの変形、そのまま水平飛行に移るところは違和感がある。ガウォークからの飛行なら、腕とガンポッドは収納状態で滑走、速度をつけてから浮き上がりつつファイターに変形ならもっとカッコいいし、自然。
そこは自分も思いました
垂直に上がったなら、そこからファイターに変形してダイブ→引き起こし…ってな感じもアリだけど、かなり上昇しないと無理だわなw

This is one of my absolute favorite Japanese anime shows and concepts, Macross - Robotech, I have only two of the aircraft models and wish I could have bought more when they first came out. I just love the idea of a vehicle that's able to change into other weapons.
Is it a vehicle that changes into other weapons OR is it a weapon that changes into a vehicle??? That is the true question.

I just loved how you used the Top Gun theme music and the Robotic Macross Valkyrie/ Veritech robots jets it's has been my favorite cartoon since I was a child and I was born in the 70's and when I first saw them I have always wanted one of those jets as my own personal jet the skull squadron was my favorite one I hope they come out with a updated cartoon of it and Thank you you made me smile and keep up the amazing work 😊😊😊😊

En Argentina se estaba haciendo la película al estilo transformes salieron a la luz un par de escenas y la verdad muy pero muy buena y por algún motivo obligaron a cancelarla creo que por derechos de autor algo así pero en TH-cam se puede ver esas escenas
