Sehun tried to kill his persona and be himself, but he's trapped, an idol can't ever show their true self without getting hated, thats why the arrow gets him, the arrow represents midia/fan hate. Suho (being the masterpiece he is) is surrounded by art, just like paintings, idols are told to be there just to be appreciated, they can't show ugly things about themselves. Kai is on a motorcycle, but he's movements and his persona are like bull fight, even the persona has this blanket and does torero movements. Again, both will get hurt. Chen was playing chess, he seems invested on the game, while his persona sits careless, the persona KNOWS theres no winners here. And they didnt go through the end, the chess board is a mess in the end and Chen is not in the room, for me it seems Chen and his persona just end up in an agreement and Chen run away, he embrace the fact that he can't overcome his idol persona (he is still being watched by the cameras in the end). The song has this "i want you" lines being played many times, those can be their fans voice mixed with music industry, they want EXO, they want to suck everyting they can from them, they want to see the stage personas, and for EXO give it to them, they have to sacrifice themselves and music industry and fans know that. That's my view, I know EXO has the power concept since debut, but I think that this is just a plot for talking about real life problems, their title track songs constantly talk about toxic relationships , in MVs EXO is always trapped (music industry) and always trying to escape (idol culture), but they can't and they are aware of their fate.

Recently baekhyun-lay went on a shopping date, before that he came all the way to korea to say goodbye to d.o before his enlistment and after few hours ran in the airport to catch his flight. I have 2 theories but they both relate to the Tree of Life. 1. Remember the naked tree back in the concept trailer? Do you think that maybe the naked tree represented the Tree of Life for X-EXO? I mean, the two are polar opposites, maybe they each had their own sort of Tree of Life that, like EXO’s Tree of Life, gave them their power instead of possibly using it from EXO. 2. Going back to the naked tree. Either it’s X-EXO’s own tree of life or X-EXO was possibly stealing power from EXO, causing the Tree to try and keep giving them their powers back, draining it’s energy the more it was used. Both of which, for this mv, it could explain why only Chanyeol was able to use his power, because everyone else had already drained theirs, in both EXO and most of X-EXO which resulted in them needing to use normal human tactics. But X-EXO still has a little more power left in them, which could explain why they have those red lights streak across their faces. But you can see that X-EXO’s Chanyeol looks a lot more powerful, and that EXO’s Chanyeol looks a little weaker. Going back to my 2nd theory it could probably be because X-EXO’s Chanyeol has stolen most of the powers from EXO’s Chanyeol, rendering him almost human. Or (keep in mind this is sort of still about the 2nd theory) maybe X-EXO have stolen all the powers from EXO, rendering them human, burning out the energy of the tree of life. And then maybe either both EXO or X-EXO’s Chanyeol burned the tree of life, making it so that they can’t harness power from it anymore because it would be toodangerous for each other, alike. For X-EXO, it would make EXO and bigger threat and vice versa. And going back with that half of the planet looking burnt. Maybe it’s the effect of Chanyeol burning the Tree. It’s killed half of the Earth, or killed away half the the *life* on Earth. But because it was used with fire, that half of the Earth is burnt.

Actually it is possible with Luhan and Kris if you consider the drama mv from the ot12 days. You should definitely do a breakdown of Lay new music video Lit.
I have 2 theories but they both relate to the Tree of Life.
1. Remember the naked tree back in the concept trailer? Do you think that maybe the naked tree represented the Tree of Life for X-EXO? I mean, the two are polar opposites, maybe they each had their own sort of Tree of Life that, like EXO’s Tree of Life, gave them their power instead of possibly using it from EXO.
2. Going back to the naked tree. Either it’s X-EXO’s own tree of life or X-EXO was possibly stealing power from EXO, causing the Tree to try and keep giving them their powers back, draining it’s energy the more it was used.
Both of which, for this mv, it could explain why only Chanyeol was able to use his power, because everyone else had already drained theirs, in both EXO and most of X-EXO which resulted in them needing to use normal human tactics. But X-EXO still has a little more power left in them, which could explain why they have those red lights streak across their faces. But you can see that X-EXO’s Chanyeol looks a lot more powerful, and that EXO’s Chanyeol looks a little weaker.
Going back to my 2nd theory it could probably be because X-EXO’s Chanyeol has stolen most of the powers from EXO’s Chanyeol, rendering him almost human. Or (keep in mind this is sort of still about the 2nd theory) maybe X-EXO have stolen all the powers from EXO, rendering them human, burning out the energy of the tree of life. And then maybe either both EXO or X-EXO’s Chanyeol burned the tree of life, making it so that they can’t harness power from it anymore because it would be toodangerous for each other, alike. For X-EXO, it would make EXO and bigger threat and vice versa. And going back with that half of the planet looking burnt. Maybe it’s the effect of Chanyeol burning the Tree. It’s killed half of the Earth, or killed away half the the *life* on Earth. But because it was used with fire, that half of the Earth is burnt.

Actually it is possible with Luhan and Kris if you consider the drama mv from the ot12 days. They could've left the group (which Kris actually did if I remember correctly) in the story and succumb to the RF when they were alone.
