Gideon...Great review and better than all others IMO. I’m disabled from breaking my neck in 3 places and suffering 70% to 100% paralysis. I can walk a bit with 2 canes, but I’m a outdoorsman, Hunter, and fisherman for past 50 years. Using any bag as a backpack is easiest for me to carry anything since I’m using two canes at all time. I had the Maxpedition Testudo Tactical Attaché until 5 months back. On December 10, 2018, I was asleep in the room over garage. Fire Alarms went off and there was nowhere for me to go. It made news all over NC, but I crawled through smoke to top off stairs but floor was collapsing below me into a garage fully engulfed in flames 🔥. I used the electric stair chair to pull myself into a stranding position. There was 3 feet of vision as smoke and fire broke into the room. I used my arms like a downhill skier and on a 3 count dove head first down the 20 step staircase. I hit head first half way down knocking myself unconscious ~ breaking 3 ribs~ cracked 2 more and numerous other injuries and burns on the back of head. I was transported to UNC CHAPEL HILL BURN CENTER and was in a COMA for 2~ weeks and 2 months in ICU. Our house burned to ground and I lost all my Maxpedition gear and bags, not to mention Van blew up, and 57 years of memories gone. My niece helped with a GoFundMe site, but now I have to try and list every last item I owned‼️ Not so easy. The Testudo is no longer made and the IRONCLOUD BAG YOU JUST REVIEWED MAY BE THE PERFECT ALL PURPOSE BAG. Unfortunately dealing with insurance is a NIGHTMARE. In the end, they are only going to cover about 50% of financial losses, after rebuilding the house which will take 9 months. So at a conservative $300,000.00 of property losses (not including house structure) but items owned like home theaters, artwork, guns, and everything ~ Insurance pays $150,000.00. That’s rough, not to mention 5 times that amount for hospital care. In closing, YOU MADE A FIRST CLASS VIDEO REVIEW OF THE MAXPEDITION IRONCLOUD ADVENTURER BAG. I think it’ll be my choice, as I try to replace property lost in the fire. BTW, it was an electrical fire due to a handicap bathroom that was being built....at least that is what it may be as of now. Sorry so long to you and everyone. Keep up the great reviews. William Sturman ~
The thing I love about Maxpedition bags is the way they break in. They start off a bit stiff and inflexible, but the more you use them, the more supple and "broken in" they get. My Sitka is very flexible now after several years of daily use, and no evidence of excessive wear or stress on any part of the bag. I have come to believe they are well worth the added price up front.
This would be what I like to call a forever bag .Basically something that last a hard-use daily wear with multiple ways to use the bag . I do agree the bag definitely deserves the 2 zippers to be a ability to lock the zippers for security to.your electronics and inner contents . the light colors inside is great for the ability to see everything. I.would add the interior of the bag to be Velcro everywhere for the ability to add smaller bags than you wish to stay put.
Actually, I think that would be a nice Get Home Bag for those who live in an Urban/Suburban Environment. Betcha with a little Sewing and an extra Buckle or Two one could rig that Shoulder Strap into a Waist Belt. Nice gear.
Hi, just wanted to say that you have a great channel. Thanks. Also another great pack is the Camelbak Rubicon which is almost as large with 47L/2868 cu in and it comes with the water reservoir. So far it's my one of my favorite packs as a retired firefighter and now a writer. Take care!
Nice bag. There are a ton of these "single bag" travel bags coming out right now. Aer travel, Minaal, Tortuga, Go Ruck GR2, and many more. I am really into this idea of extended travel with one bag and this looks like a good option from Maxpedition.
Dude.... which would you suggest out of the following for adventures (ranging from a weekend, to 1-2 weeks) Maxpedition Ironcloud Vanquest Trident-31 Your insight would be most appreciated man.
If I start traveling longer than 3 days for work I will consider. Thanks for review. My shoes are 13 so I would have to position the other way in the bag, it appears anything over 10 would require this.
Thanks for the review, very well done! I’ve been wanting one of these for a while now. Your link provided me with that opportunity (best price) and I was able to help out your channel!
I love the idea of this! Goruck gr3 is a similar idea but isn't out to buy yet. I'm also going to ask is when I can buy you're patch again cause I missed out on your last run.
Hey I'm a big fan of your channel and watch all of your videos. I just had a question for you. I'm a stay at home dad with a second baby on the way and I've been really unhappy with the options available for diaper bags. I know you have a kid and have reviewed a ton of bags and was just wondering if you had any suggestions for a backpack or something like that that you think would work well as a diaper bag
Dillon White way to go my friend. Congrats. We have been using the Mountainsmith Approach 25 and are very happy with it. The other option could be the 5.11 tactical Covrt 18. Both would be great.
I understand the appeal of something that is durable and will hold up. But at about 5lbs I feel like the Osprey Porter 46 at just 2lbs 6oz would be more preferable. A lot of stuff reviewed on this channel is usually very heavy. For example, the Mountainsmith Shade Dome is RIDICULOUSLY heavy for what you get. A lightweight 15D silny or cuben tarp is 1/10th of the weight and will provide identical coverage. Is lightweight gear just not your thing?

Nice bag it reminds me a bit of some of the convetable Eagle Creek bags they used to have at REI.
I couldn't of examined the bag better if it was sitting in front of me. Awesome video, thank you. Mine will be in the mail in three days!
Great looking bag. I really like the variety of products you review on your channel.
Son of Dad thanks so much!

One nice multipurpose bag. Great review.

Similar to my Osprey Porter 46, which I love.
Thank you for the video, was gonna get the fliegerduffle but now I'm buying this
Trevor Tuffield Is the Ironcloud an update of the Fliegerduffel?
I love the idea of this! Goruck gr3 is a similar idea but isn't out to buy yet.
I'm also going to ask is when I can buy you're patch again cause I missed out on your last run.
So this is carry on-able even fully stuffed out?
can you carry a sleeping bag and portable tent with this? i am looking for a world travel bag on the road
What was the bag that had your shoes in it? I haven't ever thought about having a bag for shoes while traveling
I would love to see this bag compared to the Vanquest Skycap 46.
hi! any problem with the airlines or is ok for carry on? thx!
good review, whats in the pouch on your belt??

Great review, a terrific looking bag.
Great video. Can you review the Helikon Tex Bushcraft Satchel
Thanks Aaron!
Это не вы снимались в фильме "to catch a killer"😂? Вы похожи на актера.

Wooow I like that duffle bag!!! It doesn't look too tactical and my girl also love it!!!
What was that he has his shoes in??
Matthew Tesar a bag to keep from touching clothes. Just a clean thing
think this is worth ditching my Northface base camp duffel? mighty tempting.
Dislike the company. And it’s customer service
Where was this filmed? i really want to go there with my metal detector!
Ten inches... for that deep capability
really tho, nice vid! Denver Rep!!!!!
Cool Bag, that bag is almost as big as Mrs. GT! Ha ha ha.
Nice bag

(Eyes the sternum strap) definitely not for the female anatomy, then.
That “zipper garage “ its way off!,,,
shame theres no hip belt
This thing is way, way too expensive - £232.00....WHAT?
