The whole concept of looking at things from an ant's perspective and applying cinema tools like camera movement, slo-mo, shallow and deep focus etc mixed with CG to bring about a superhero action film is one that excites me in a very different way. I mean, look that shot when he transforms into Ant-Man in this.. just absolutely love how we go from casually looking at things like the tub, drainhole, plug and curtains, to now looking at them forming this huge gigantic surrounding that are literally 'belittling' him. Truly a unique experience.

Well, Edgar Wright supposed to direct the ant man trilogy. He wrote the original script from way back before or after the success of phase 1 but because of studio interfering his project by making a new script without him knowing, that leads to him leaving the project. The first Ant man movie's screen writer was Mr. WRIGHT who made it successful in the box office. Man, I wish we see his full vision of the character.

the cinematography here is so great like the moment of scot first shrinking down and falling in to the bathtub is one shot and actually raises tension while also being funny. Compare it to M-She-U now, where there is a million cuts per second. This is the best of the antman movies. The fight scenes are also so well choreographed and shot. edit: Guardians of the Galaxy was the sole exceptions. To my surprise it featured insanely good choreographed and shot scenes, it even featured a 1 cut scene.
scott looks like he jokes around but there are scenes where's good at tinkering with electronics, he even said that he has a masters in electrical engineering but it gets overshadowed by being comedic
