What a marvellous rump you have my dear. I never tire of watching 18th century creations. One of my favourite silhouettes next to the late 19th C bustle and pleated swag era. Looking forward to the next installment, and to see your design choice for the outer petticoat and robe gown. Will it be Francaise, Anglaise, Italiene, Polonaise? So many options. How exciting!
Ohhhh I feel you on the feathers, I had a feather pillow that survived the washing machine explode in the dryer... Looks good though, and I will probably end up making something like that or the crescent shaped one for some of my historically-inspired clothing as I currently don't even have enough hips to hold my pants up these days (granted my work pants have like 5 lbs of keys on them and another 5 lbs of tools in them, but they USED to stay up)... From a silly conversation going on in the background as I was watching this, I have decided if I make the two-pillow version, I shall learn to embroider so that I can name them "Sugar" and "Spite", I can always start out sweet then turn the other cheek...
@@BellaMaesDesigns It actually was, I vacuumed all the feathers out of every nook and cranny of the drier I could reach, but when I started it up again, I obviously had missed some because there were flames... thankfully I had a fire extinguisher, but we needed a new drier after that.
my granddad has some feather pillows on the sofa and i just have memories of leaning against them, feeling a poke and would do 1 of 2 things 1- if it was just a small poke if just readjust 2- if i could see the feather shaft poking out, id pull it out... is probably good i didnt visit often as those pillows would be empty....
Feather pokes are awful! I think there's different qualities and sizes of feathers, and it looks like you got the down ones (softest). I can't imagine who would take the time & patience to use a nail file on hundreds of thousands of feathers, but, it may help? Congratulations on a cute false rump!
@@BellaMaesDesigns oh, that is wonderful! 🌞🌻🐝 Maybe they all shifted around and the tip of the feathers were the heaviest parts, so the pointed downward, instead of at you 🌻

😂 I plan to do a Italiene! I think... I always get the looks confused!
“What a marvelous rump you have my dear” 😂
Looking for the 18th Century Dress so very beautiful rump!!! ❤❤❤
I need to make that under-petticoat 😅
I need it to keep my warmth 😂
This was so fun! Good grief the feathers looked messy. I’m so excited to see the rest of this project!
Oh, they were...😅
it's like you put a neat, little bow on your undergarments LOL
This looks like it would be most comfy to sit on! I wish we could bring false rumps back to sit on if we have no cush for our natural tush!
Just do it! It doesn't have to be huge. I have a small one I wear
I used to sit on a sheepskin pad when I had no cush for my tush. I still don't, but now I sit on a gelpad seat cushion.
Everyone needs a false tukus.
I always get such a boost to my day when I see your posts in my notifications! Keep up the excellent work!
Aw, yay!
Fascinating the way you've mastered all this without any formal training (I understand).
Try those polyester fiber filler thing they used inside stuff toys, they're cheap and doesn't get pressed easily
you are looking beautiful in this white dress🥰🥰🥰
This is why when i use velvet or any kind of material in sewing have hair i wear a mask to protect my nose and mouth

Oh dear! That sounds like a nightmare!
Haha, that's great!

Actually, quite charming.😊❤
I didn’t know rump/bump pads had a skirt piece! I thought it was just two pillows on a string lol. I hope you got the feathers cleaned up :)
I love your videos so much ❤️
After sitting for a while, do you need to find a place to which you can retreat and fluff your rump?
Oh... I hadn't thought of that, but that would be completely understandable!
You can find feather-resistant canvas

U have so much feathers on ur sweater!! 😆 Would cotton work?
Stuffed!❤
Just question is it comfortable to sit on?
Absolutely! Soft as a pillow! 😂
I would have put on a mask while stuffing!
Much safer than a Brazilian Butt Lift. Looks better too.

That's true! It actually turned out to not be bother! After wearing it to the picnic for several hours, I never felt any!

Oh gosh Bella how long did it take you to clean the feathers?
The rump looks amazing!
Thankfully only about a half hour!
@@BellaMaesDesigns oh that’s shorter than I thought!!
This is a BBL I can get behind (I'm so sorry)
