Amazing! The game is still early in development, while release on consoles is definitely a goal we can't guarantee it just yet. Nintendo's next console will almost definitely be available when Pipsqueak launches, so we would target that platform as well as the Switch assuming it is still supported

I'd love to hear the whole thing! I subscribed on the off-chance you drop a vid with that whole song, so if you decide to drop the OST for the game anytime soon let us know

I just finished the demo and wow! It is such a great game, the combat and movement feels amazing and the boss fight was super fun! Will definitely be buying as soon as it comes out.
This pixel art reminds me SO much of the Nitrome games, with not-too-chunky pixels and animations being in the same pixel range as the idle and moving sprites. I'm not for the more intense parkour platformer stuff like Hollow Knight, but i guess this feels more at home to me. Good luck on making your game! Already looks great and smooth-yet-classic so far.

Lots of great ideas just in this trailer alone, I was getting some hollow knight vibes with the mechanics but you guys did a great job on expanding that I think
I LOVE the extra functions on swinging the sword shown there. Reminds me of shovel knight. Platformers arent my thing so I probably won't play this but it LOOKS amazing, and clever mechanics too! Should end up being a classic for plenty of people.

Looks fun. Love the art too, my only concern is that the player character could be hard to find in the heat of battle since the background is so detailed Guess a solution could be to have a transparent aura around the mouse to help set him apart
This is a good year for games about Mice in Big Worlds. From ToothnTail to Curse of the Sea Rats to Ghosttail to the upcoming Mina the Hollower, game devs just like mice for some reason.
Looks amazing in style AND gameplay!! Pipsqueak remind me of the book Tales of Despereaux. I JUST WISH some the background elements were toned down in saturation or somehow given a little more depth. Would be a nice effect and help with seeing the action/foreground better. CAN’T WAIT FOR THIS TO RELEASE!!
Now I wont go insane that either Silksong, Crowsworn, or Pipsqueak will cure my sanity.

Their more recent projects (Bomb Chicken, Shovel Knight Dig) have been a huge inspiration visually! They are masters of the craft

The sword hit to bounce off enemies kinda reminds me of Shovel Knight. Looks like a great fit in this game. I'd definitely try it out.

A side scroller is different as it goes just from left to right or vice versa. Metroidvania would be more fittig imo^^
