- Welcome to episode #3 of Bionicle Lore Explained. In this episode we go over the early history of the island metropolis known as Metru-Nui! We cover everything up to the end of the Toa-Dark Hunter War, which isn't all the lore about Metru-Nui, but we can always come back to it again in future episodes. I hope you enjoyed!

@@Pilot_of_Solace BS01, while the most accurate wiki, is still missing some information here and there, sadly. But people are always working in straightening that you! One day you should talk about the elements as their own video, maybe? Like, Greg actually stated not long ago that they are tied to their spirits/minds, but need mind and body to be used by a Toa. Also, the Great Beings discovered them, apparently, and did not create them, and Glatorian night have evolved natural elemental powers down their evolutionary path. This is all coming from Greg and is not on BS01 though.

I am dumb, are the islands in the spirit robot, or just some sort of metaphorical power source thing
Some inside some out I think. I don’t really know
They are contained within hollowed out sections of the robot. When makuta corrupted mata nui with the virus, he crashed on the ocean moon. The crash dislodged some islands from inside the body that floated up to the surface (still attatched with umbilical cords) and the rest of the islands formed on the robots features (face, limbs, etc.) above the water line because of cloaking tech.
