I think the front man somehow tried to make the gang "get out" of the game safely. He want them to attack the blue-marked players first, so when the next vote occured, the red players win the vote and they all can go home. But Gi Hun is very ambitious with his mission to take down the higher ups & bring everybody down with him. If you look closely, the front man looked quite angry and disappointed at Gi-Hun. Exactly like he said in the end: this is the price if you play hero
What hits the hardest is the FRont Man realizing Gi-Hun isn't a better person. Gi-Hun still sacrificed other for the greater good, which is the same philosophy as the Squid Games. Gi-Hun couldn't beat the system without using the systems methods.
Gi-Hun is not a hero. He is a human with flaws who tries his best. Quite a realistic character writing. And he is still a much better guy than the Front Man, who runs this death game that kills a lot of people for the entertainment of some rich dudes.
LOL what? Gi-Hun is 100% a better person. The Games aren’t idealistic at all. They are merely for entertainment of rich mfs. Not to challenge a system. Gi-Hun tried to end the games repeatedly but they had to specifically intervene and change the rules. He didn’t "sacrifice" anyone, he just couldn’t save them, no matter what he did.
Jackson's theory is interesting : Gi-hun is now suspicious from the 🔘 group point of view. He is the only survivor of that "mission" that was HIS idea too
Absolutely. Maybe even show his time when he won the games. How he gets recruited and his life before all this. I'd love it. The director mentioned he was thinking about a spinoff so let's hope.
@insiderang8570 That's a good angle for a spin off. This series gave Netflix and the firector so much money, of course they will milk every possibility out of it.
I'd guess that we get more of an explanation/reveal of why he became the frontman in season 3 but who knows. If they reveal more about the games and how they came to be then a frontman spin-off would be less interesting.
Thats the moment where Gi-hun lost it. The Games got to him. The Gi-Hun of Season 1 would have never sacrificed all those people. He is more like the Frontman now. The Frontman knows it too. Look at his Face as he said " sacrifice for the greater good ". He looks like he wanted to say " I so hoped you would show me that you are different and I made a mistake in the past but you are exactly like me ". I hope Gi-hun has a turn around in Season 3 and leaves the dark hole.
I think 001 is trying to break 456 so much that in the end he becomes like him. Everything he cared about has been taken from him. I think the frontman sees some of himself in 456 and when 456 said sacrifice people for the greater outcome I think the frontman was seeing his plan is working.
456 just proved the Front Man’s point. Letting all those people die just so he could get his revenge. Had he listened and attacked first, Everyone would have gone home with money and minimal casualties.
Not really, the Front Man is only “right” because he deliberately changed the rules to make the players more greedy which frustrates Gi-Hun. And even if Gi-Hun follows his advice, Front Man will still find a way to betray Gi-Hun anyway because he runs this game.
Daeho(388) couldn’t go cuz of his ptsd, there was a shooting incident IRL which occurred during his time in marines which was in 2011 and he got discharged in 2013 I believe?
Honestly Gi-Hun's plan was dumb af from the beginning. Like did they really think they were going to take out the whole place with 11 people? Really? Also, you guys should definitely watch Mr. Robot, Haunting of Hill House and From, all 3 are amazing shows!
I had no clue there were only 7 episodes this season so I was SCRAMBLING to start the next episode lol but I’m glad they’re splitting up this last story cause I’m thoroughly enjoying these characters and don’t want their stories to be rushed.
If u want a movie with Kang Haneul (the "ex marine") guy, highly Highly recommend his Movie Forgotten! For me, this is his best work and acting yet! Watch it guys, its so underrated yet such an amazing twist in a movie! Forgotten is definitely the definition of PLOT TWIST in a film. I promise, its so worth it!
I saw people on the Internet say the trans was more braver than the "ex marine guy" True that the transgender was brave. But GENDER has nothing to do with this. (I Myself was disappointed for sec and got pissed with him at that moment but) His decision at the end was very Realistic. His character was expected to be “tough” because he’s a Marine when it’s already implied that he only joined there bcause his dad wanted to make a man out of him,,,, How he acted in the end resonates true w/ that. Swear ppl were just not paying attention! literally said he only joined the marines cuz his dad wanted him to be manly and was physically uncomfortable and changed the subject when they tried to push him to talk more about his dad. Guy just wanted to have fun w/ his sisters.
As a trans person, I agree. It's crazy how many people forget the fact that a lot of ex marine / soldiers in the army come out having mental health issues - such as ptsd.
I say he's not the smartest MC, I really agree with the recruiter that he just got out because of luck and help from other player, in this season, there were many times he almost die, (but I guess, its the MC plot Armour) the scene in mini games, he almost didn't catch the toy thing with his foot, again in the shooting, he almost got shot again but frontman shot the guard.
Nobody gonna be worrying about "oh let me check under the beds im sure the main characters are there" there is chaos ppl are worrying about stabbing or getting stabbed
I feel the opposite when it comes to characters. The death of a character in Season 1 affected me far more than any in Season 2. I feel like “Player 101” from Season 1 played a much stronger role as a villain compared to “Player 100” in Season 2.
Same. S1 had the introduction to the games and made us connect with a few players by giving us glimpses of their lives. S2 is more focused on Gi hun trying to stop the games with few player backstories sprinkled on.
I love Hyun-Ju (player 120)!😍She really stole the show in my opinion and now is my favorite from the 2 seasons (and already including season 3). That slap was iconic 😂 and now being a badass with the guns. Love her! 💜 And I shouldn't say this, but I liked the front man too, while he was being friendly and with that stares to see Gi-Hun's reactions, reminds me a lot the vibe from Mads Mikkelsen's Hannibal. hahha
I really like these series. From now on, I recommend you to watch the series SWEET HOME. It's a 3-season series and it's so good. It is considered one of the famous series in Korea. I'm looking forward to Squid Game season 3. It will probably be the final season.
Gi-Hyun was ready to let some of his people be sacrificed (just like the Os ) for his half-azzed plan, but somehow he didn't consider his own BFF could be one of the people dying 🤷🏾♀️🥴
9:13 Same, Jack, same. 9:28 Yep, that dude pissed me off by just letting that happen. 15:31 It's totally like a video game. With them actually running out of ammo and having to take ammo off the dead bodies. This was a good season, honestly, I'd give it like a B+. I could be wrong, but I think most people's issue with the last episode and the season overall, is it's basically a part 1 of 2. It'll be interesting to see what everyone thinks once season 3 releases.
I agree with brig. Gi-hun letting the Xs die is out of character for him. Not much of a difference from whos he's fighting. What they should of done. is have Gi-hun try to talk to the Os and be like "hey we are gonna take over. You can have even more money if we rush the officials." If that fails THEN Gi-hun says okay lets fight. Whoever survives from our group. We will go with that plan of taking over. But letting the Xs die. Who believed Gi-hun's message and wanted to get out of there was corny.
Someone said that Gi hun sacrificing the Xs reveals to the viewers that Gi hun only cared about revenge / stopping the games and not actually helping people like he did in ep3. If Gi hun really wanted to help people he could have told some players that he had Money Left over and is willing to help. Not only that he could of told everyone about his experiences. Not to mention that he could have told the Os that they can rejoin after they leave the game if they wanted more money.
I think all they wanted to show with that is that gihun is already getting corrupted by the system and that even tho he wanted to change the frontman's vision, he's the one who's changing

I haven’t seen people say it but that was my first tought, we’re going to see an early version of green light red light wich was In-Ho’s game he won 👀 man I loved this honestly, I think the weird architecture was made all for gunfight, the way they had like 3 sides to hide in the staircase even tough those hallways probably go nowhere haha. Also many reactors said the marine might have faked but with how he said his father made him join and his dad seemed a sore subject so maybe abusive and that’s why he bragged cause his father forced him to feel proud of it to "be a man". I’m glad they saved him like that with 120 since it means we’re getting more of them next season, by the way both my goat of the season lol. He probably just didn’t have field experience since Korea hasn’t really fought in a long time. Also this was definitely just all a game, the second in charge saw 001 join in so he just kept sending soldiers in the same spots and not advancing cause then as soon as he said to wrap up, all was immediately done so they were definitely waiting his call. Loved it personally and loved watching it with yall, excited for season 3 aka 2.5 lol 🙃
You guys had some funny reactions, some very different from mine but your discussion was really good afterwards and I appreciate the different perspectives from each of you guys. Overall, I enjoyed season 2 and am looking forward to season 3 and the finale!
Already post the last episode?? Yeah!!! A lot of people said Dae-ho lied saying he was a marine... I believed he told the truth but has ptsd after what happened there
dude gihun's plan was dumb af , and him sacrificing those ppl was soo not his character he lost me at the end i don't care about what happens to him from now on
I'm 100% agree with what the black shirt Guy (sorry I'm new to this channel and I don't know the names 😅) said at 28:00...this season is not about the game, is more focused on the characters, we already knew the games thing, I feel it would have been boring another season like the previous one.
there's no way they wont use the Connection of her(011 guard) and his character(the dad) in the storyline. I hope he's Alive in s3 🥲 i just can't that they got this actor with almost like cameo in every episode that he's in after being the Monster Villain in SweetHome. I mean Gong u played and slayed the Whole episode 1! So I hope to see jinwook again more in s3!
JUST WATCH "THE GLORY" every ep is 10/10. you guys will def love it! Player 120 is one of the villains ( his acting range is insane). That series is based on true story in Korea btw. Just try first ep and you don't even want to drop it.
I felt sorry for Se-Mi, player 380, a beautiful, pretty girl, so young. I was angry with Min-Su, player 125, he didn't save her, he let her die. He was a cowardly idiot and I got angry when he didn't take her hand and turned his back on her in the carousel game. He was an idiot. 😡😡😡😡😡
The rebellion attack is a bad idea and goes against Gihuns morals but there really is no winning in that situation because the O team is at the advantage by have more men. X team attacking first would still go against Gihuns morals and the likley hood of them winning is so small. Also preparing for the attack and trying to hide as a group isn’t really a great defense either, there’s really nowhere to hide and group O could just corner them. Frontman is obviously trying to prove an ideological point to Gihun but the thing is about option and opportunity. If given more options and opportunities would the players make the same choices. And frontman knows this but he also knows that they exist under a system except he values it and wants to uphold it whereas Gihun wants to dismantle it and see who people are without it. Gihun is desperate and this is a Hail Mary plan. A dumb plan but the whole infiltration plan was dumb to begin. But we have to remember the games and In the second half of S1. They were pitted against eachother and as we get closer to those points in the games I think Gihun becomes more desperate because he knows that’s when the lack of humanity really begins and he’s trying to save the people who will die and the souls of the people who live.
9:26 ...after last episode when he betrayed her, I began to dislike him. But I held out hope that there would be a moment where he could redeem himself. After this episode, I don't think I care who else lives or dies as long as he dies an awful death. I may have to eat my words with the next season, but as of right now he genuinely seems irredeemable.
Even though S3 will be the end of this series. Squid Game will still continue with the spin-off By David Fincher, which i also hope is just as good. Also the Reality one by Netflix is still going to continue. Edit: watch the 8 show ( 8 episodes) its not as good but its enjoyable. And i hope for a s2 even if people called the show slow paced.
All squid game episodes are rated by 1 whatever its a masterpeicer or a boring episode thats the problem with a popular show some people just rated a 1 for sick of it
Right Thats why frontman smirked when gihun was ready to sacrifice some people In the starting of the episode gihun wanted to save everyone but as time passed gihun changed gradually & eventually he became ready to sacrifice people ironically turning into the very kind of person he initially sought to thwart
@Rokkú.Leè righttt!!! his idealisms doesn't work at the end and he will have big regret after his friend died... btw, different with the frontman, he is become hero gradually after he shown up. like in the second game (he helped gihun in jegi, he become hero in mingle game) in the vote and helped myunggi from thanos and gihun only know that he is dead too (when young il alrd make sure about gihun's plan, that he will sacrificed many people)
There is a lot to talk about. First, I do like season two, but it failed to live up to the original in many ways. Because the first season was meant to be a one-off with a well-written narrative and engaging characters. We come to empathize with the characters rather than being told right off the bat who and how we should sympathize with; here is a pregnant girl, a trans woman, and a mother and her son stuck together like the husband and wife from season one. The shaman lady replaced the Christian guy and Han Mi-nyeo, the loud mouth obnoxious and funny lady who took out Jang Deok-su on the bridge. The witch had no redeeming quality, and now she has a cult following. I have nothing against the actor, just the character. Overall, season one did a better character introduction than season two. I would have loved to see the final episode with Gi-hun upstaged the Front Man instead. It would have made it on a higher note rather than a sour, depressing, and irritating cliffhanger. The twist would be that Gi-hun knew 001 was not to be trusted and led a successful revolution, with Jung-bae cheering on Gi-hun. Then, the following season, about two more episodes in, because they won a battle, the war isn’t over, and Jung-bae relayed what the Front Man did in the Mingle game and then gets killed by the 001, his death would have been more impactful. I also wish that Captain Park was not a mole. The island was just that hard to detect because of radio jamming interference from the island. It would have made the show unique among others by going against convention. Finally, Cannon quoted LOST, saying, “Live together, die alone.” Squid Game alluded to both LOST and Stranger Things. In LOST, a mysterious organization runs the island, which is hard to find for outsiders. Jin and Sun are a Korean couple, and Sun’s rich father has a connection to the island, just like Jun-ho’s brother, In-ho, who works on the island as the Front Man. MAJOR SPOILERS for CINEMA GEK: Continue only if you don’t mind being spoiled or plan to view Stranger Things before the final season. FINAL
WARNINGS!!! [/For Stranger Things, 001 is not to be trusted, and 011 has a special skill and a long-standing connection with the organization. Both elevens know how to use their deadly powers.]
Cho Hyun-Ju (Player 120) was definitely the MVP of this episode🙌🏻.....I hope she makes it through S3

i loved 120 in this episode she clutched so hard
For real. Clutched a couple of times this season, but the real MVP in this episode.
Gihun choosing to sacrifice X players and friends for a suicidal plan instead of attacking first, voting to quit, and regrouping lol
He explains in the episode that the other players aren't the true enemy
Frontman spin-off series is all I want
Absolutely. Maybe even show his time when he won the games. How he gets recruited and his life before all this. I'd love it. The director mentioned he was thinking about a spinoff so let's hope.

I believed he told the truth but has ptsd after what happened there
I can't they been still saying squid game is underrated
Please watch "train to Busan"
Love your reactions ❤
dude gihun's plan was dumb af , and him sacrificing those ppl was soo not his character he lost me at the end i don't care about what happens to him from now on
you should watch the glory and see how 120 is different from here.
you should watch kingdom, istg that series 🤯
The theories are so interesting😊
Min-Su is one of the VIPs from season 1! 💀
I'm 100% agree with what the black shirt Guy (sorry I'm new to this channel and I don't know the names 😅) said at 28:00...this season is not about the game, is more focused on the characters, we already knew the games thing, I feel it would have been boring another season like the previous one.
YOOOOO
how about a star wars rewatch for movie weekends? kinda want to relive the memes and hit that nostalgia spot
there's no way they wont use the Connection of her(011 guard) and his character(the dad) in the storyline. I hope he's Alive in s3 🥲 i just can't that they got this actor with almost like cameo in every episode that he's in after being the Monster Villain in SweetHome. I mean Gong u played and slayed the Whole episode 1! So I hope to see jinwook again more in s3!
Love your reactions, glad i caught this banger early
JUST WATCH "THE GLORY" every ep is 10/10. you guys will def love it! Player 120 is one of the villains ( his acting range is insane). That series is based on true story in Korea btw. Just try first ep and you don't even want to drop it.
Yehey yall finished the second season❤
I felt sorry for Se-Mi, player 380, a beautiful, pretty girl, so young. I was angry with Min-Su, player 125, he didn't save her, he let her die. He was a cowardly idiot and I got angry when he didn't take her hand and turned his back on her in the carousel game. He was an idiot. 😡😡😡😡😡
Theory on 388 is he had PTSD or he didn’t really go in the Marines
Dayum early for squid game with the guys✨
I hope you guys release two episodes of Alice in Borderland in a week because I really can’t wait you to react season 2
No
YAHHH IKR
bad series tbh
Secret Hitler mentioned? Damn you are even more goated now
The rebellion attack is a bad idea and goes against Gihuns morals but there really is no winning in that situation because the O team is at the advantage by have more men.
Idk why fans want him to reveal himself its so dumb lol so if gi hun win the games goes after frontman family ?
I recommend you to watch all of us are dead series
Pls react to " bloodhounds " it is a great kdrama
9:26 ...after last episode when he betrayed her, I began to dislike him. But I held out hope that there would be a moment where he could redeem himself. After this episode, I don't think I care who else lives or dies as long as he dies an awful death. I may have to eat my words with the next season, but as of right now he genuinely seems irredeemable.
Even though S3 will be the end of this series.
Squid Game will still continue with the spin-off
By David Fincher, which i also hope is just as good.
Also the Reality one by Netflix is still going to continue.
Edit: watch the 8 show ( 8 episodes) its not as good but its enjoyable. And i hope for a s2 even if people called the show slow paced.
Thank you ❤ pls Alice in bird land ep2😊
recommendation : " The Haunting of hill house "
is that a gollum Taco Bell shirt? I need one

Pls Watch Yellowjackets
Pls watch the series Sweet Home ☄️
Yayyy 😊 🎉
All squid game episodes are rated by 1 whatever its a masterpeicer or a boring episode thats the problem with a popular show some people just rated a 1 for sick of it
The end not feel like end
I hope they will react to FROM that show was so good but none of the yt reactors do it
25:51
what is called for people who don't have a plan, that's so gihun. In the end gihun sacrificed the people he initially wanted to save
Right
Thats why frontman smirked when gihun was ready to sacrifice some people
In the starting of the episode gihun wanted to save everyone but as time passed gihun changed gradually & eventually he became ready to sacrifice people ironically turning into the very kind of person he initially sought to thwart
@Rokkú.Leè righttt!!! his idealisms doesn't work at the end and he will have big regret after his friend died... btw, different with the frontman, he is become hero gradually after he shown up. like in the second game (he helped gihun in jegi, he become hero in mingle game) in the vote and helped myunggi from thanos and gihun only know that he is dead too (when young il alrd make sure about gihun's plan, that he will sacrificed many people)
Netflix kdrama “My name” reaction pls🙏
재밌어너네
Pls react "vincenzo" or "moving" one of best action k-drama thx🙌
pls react to the glory, u guys would love ittt
the last clip of two doll means season 3 of squid game ..... and i am already excited....
I prefer the second season, it's definitely underrated. They tweaking if they think that last episode was a 6.9
You should watch ZERO -The Bravest Money Game. It's a show similar to squid game.
That is such an underrated show
the pregnant couple is so cute
Please react all of us are dead
Next Sweet Home xD
Go live and play marvel rivals.
I recommend "All of us dead" the best zombie series
That show is literal trash lmao.
@Skylingale in your dream
