Hello @Doctor_Mush great Video but I have a problem and I don't know how to fix it when I click on a media synchronized on the BPM it waits for the first beat to start I would like to remove this function but I don't know how to do it. Thank you for your help
Hey Dood! Sounds like you've got the ol' BPM Snap on there! To turn it off The composition bar at the top , look for beat snap and change it to 'None'! Hopefully that'll solve that for you there matey !
Pretty sure the "catch up" function is so you can hit those stutters, but it'll remain in-time (and on-time) after you release it. That's how my Arturia Keystep Pro works on its beat repeat. Not for "skipping" through a long video clip, lol, but good guess!
Ah I'll have to watch back through the video again and see what it's saying --- as a rule a thumb however, I would never trust any kind of MIDI function to translate perfectly over to Resolume , there has never been a product specifcally made for Resolume, so there's always a good chance that things on the controller and things on the software will not sync up perfectly together!
@@Doctor_Mush great tip. Sometimes the midi stuff gets out of sync, say a beat off… and then is frustratingly reliable at REMAINING off. 🤣🤣 I’m like….. find the One!!
@@JonValtandtheEvilRobots Awh yea that actually sounds proper annoying hahahahah -- yea I would guess that that could be a conflict between the software and the hardware -- the controller you mentioned looks liek a proper cool MIDI controller tbf , but defintely one I have personally not seen used in conjunction with Resolume so I'm not fully able to comment hahahah; perhaps its something that could be overcome using a MIDI mapping, tho if it is the controller itself causing the issues then it might need a fairly convulated mapping to try and bodge a fix !
I think I know what you mean??? Hahahahaha - so yeah there's nothing too fancy with it you don't get any wave forms or anything like that --- it shouldn't drift if you sync up the BPM correctly however --- hope that helps mate !
@@Doctor_Mush right on, 8 watched a few other vids too. My drifting comment was related to using love rhythms or music with tempo changes. It may handle that with the current release which appears to have a real-time analysis going on, I’ll try it out, thanks for your time 😎🙌
Great one
Ahhhhh my maaan - thanks budski : D
Great video keep them coming , can you see all clips in the project to beat sync or do you have to do it per clip?
Thanks mate! Yea, so if you hold SHIFT and then click click all your wanted clips, you should be able to change em all at once man ; )
