There are like 1 or 2 more notes at the top of the waterfall(ones on a hill and I believe there is another at the river where you got the one dossier) that might get you to level 80 instead of 75. It will help since you will still have time for the 4x note to take effect for the remaining notes.
Awesome note run just want to point out that 170% movement speed is a bit overkill i would go for like 150% and the rest to weight.
yes just depend what you want i just prefer higher speed since you can not die when they are a lot slower then you :) and you can still mindwipe later if you feel like you need it but thnx for input :D

This absolutely works and is amazingly easy. I’ve done on Official and it’s just a matter of finding a server that doesn’t block the note run.

@@chlorochromee1331 People build where the notes are. Observant PvE players will leave access. The rest including PvP won’t care. I’ve had to restart several times till I found a server that didn’t block access. I also came up with a note run for aberration that will get you up to around lvl 60. I need to record it. I’ve done it on several official servers to test.

if anyone like me is here for a refresher pre ASA don't forget "extra life" event is at the end of week 1 which previously has got up around 10x. I'm only getting a few day 1, see if can get to max during the event with the rest.

This works on the switch ultimate survivor edition, but there are definitely different things spawning in. For example at 5:08 that chest was hidden behind some big rocks. I didn’t try mining it, but it didn’t appear to be a minable node. After that box. Yours looked mostly like open medows. Mine looks like a stone quary too me a while to find the next node.
That because the server he was on had been foundation spammed, which blocks rocks and trees from respawning, which he mentioned
Half of these damn notes are getting camped by raptors. Like 4 different ones along the first 6 notes or so.
Also, if a run goes bad you can create a new character and start again. If the notes are not activating for your new character, you can disconnect - and on rejoin they will work. (if they don't try reconnecting again)

There is also a note on the big rock where u take the 4x, u can also start with than one than take the 4x jump in the water and take the 2x u started with.

That one is annoying to get with fresh character since you need ladders or tames which is a waste of time since you can get decent level without it also on ps4 and xbox there is a glitched texture where you can fall off and die which can ruin note run so its easier and faster to skip it unless you have friends who can give you tames like a pt or griffin for the note run
This was pretty help full just that I died 4 times from raptors and a carno so I lost the boosts💀
yeah that can happen not much to do about that is why you need to level movement speed, pick up stimberries and manage you're stamina :) if you lost to much you can always make new character and try again

a great strategy that you can use to fight other people with the speed, is to use the bow. you can shoot them, and if they get close and try to swing at you, just run away, then repeat till' they die, after a while of this strategy, unlock guns and more, though remember - don't only upgrade speed, after a while, the items you use to craft become heavier, and heavier - so remember to also upgrade your weight!

My only thing I would change is collecting the 4x first so you get more exp for the 2x notes
it does not work like that tho since the bonus stack the second note you collect counts double so you get more xp starting with a 2x then 4x

The exp gain apparently is nothing at all what it used to be. ((( I JUST finished my note run exactly as your video shows, on official servers, started it at lvl 12 and only hit 67 afterhitting all the same notes u did.. WTF?????
someone else jsut did it moments after i did and we both acquired 55 levels[me from lvl 12 to 67 and him lvl 3 to 58]. so maybe its a static amount of levels now, plus whatever xp u gain from the buff while doing stuff.
As an SP/PVE player who just lets the exp casually come in I feel like I've been playing the game wrong now, lol. Definitely plan on using next time I start fresh on Ab. Nice not having to struggle with engram points
yeah i remember in 2016 when i first started playing and just playing casual like you say it must have taking me weeks if not months to reach level 80 lol crazy how fast you can level if you know what to do ;)
What happens when u die ? Can I re create a new player and do all the note runs again?

I dont know if this is just me, but my map doesnt show the blue marker for my character. Anyone know how to fix that?
Every time I got to spawn west zone 2 it spawns me elsewhere it’s so annoying
it happens my dude especially if you join a popular new server while everyone is spawning at the same time

I tried this in a default single player game and I got to lvl 58
For some reason single player doesn't recognize the 4X notes as 4X, it treats them as 2X is why.
at the point where you have reached lvl 60 i just get lvl 20 and i don't get to lvl 80 but to 45. . the question is why

Should have shown map at beginning also the foundations blocking the many rock spawns there is a little confusing to find. The first note is hidden behind rocks
in first 3 seconds of video i say spawn west zone 2, and i explain where to run properly, and this is completed on official servers, to make it as realistic as possible and every single note has the coordinates sir

Seems easy enough if your observant and watch for the preds. I'm rather surprsied though that the Note run doesn't go all way too 100 with sheer number of notes there are all over the place.
I'm pretty sure with 150 move speed you can easily outrun everything

you need to do exactly the same without 1 death in the process the noterun mechanic works with a multiplier you will got more xp from the second note and 3th note while you're boost is active but if for example you die halfway trough the run you will not be same level

My buddy and I followed this. We only got into the 40's on an Official PVP server. Neither of us died, but we weren't able to get the 2nd note as someone built a base there. Im curious what we may have done wrong? I doubt missing one note would cost us 30-40 levels.
the thing is the second note is the most important one since that is a 4x note so instead of getting double xp you would get 2x xp + 4x xp so 8X boost in total. might wanna try a different server with new character really

yes you can do exactly the same in singleplayer but the levels might vary depending on your experience multiplier settings
You need to update the description of this video, it is not current. The map terrain has changed, either that or you have spliced 2 videos together and forgot to add bits in between. Your directions after the waterfall at 4:50 are not current, neither is the terrain.

no there is a lot of notes this is just a quick solid run to get to a decent level a quick for newer players or if you join a new cluster with no gear needed
When I do the run I finish at lvl 68? Quad xp buff active the whole time. Did they nerf it?
I understand this is to be quick, but could I level up and get a raptor really fast and then do this run? I also want to pin all the notes on the map and do this run and whatever else I can acheive afterwards would be great
sure but the only catch is if you collect the notes while riding a tame your tame will get the full xp and you will only get half the experience

This doesn't work anymore; there aren't any 2x notes anymore so you get way way less levels, and lots of the notes after 4:30 aren't even accurate.

What is west zone 2? New players won't know cause the name is different on the game
Tried it 4 times, got killed 3 times by insects when tired and 1 time by 5 raptors
takes a bit of practice but honestly its easy if you get the hang of it, like i explain in the video pick berries while you are running and put Stimberries in your hotbar they allow you to keep running for much lower even if out of stamina!

welcome to ark lol, is why i did this on official servers to make it realistic yet some people still complain. others would do singleplayer and use cheats

if you died after collecting the 4x note i suggest to restart since you will be much lower level if you die and collect the remaining notes without the 4x boost in combination with the 2x note

@@tae238 you could do a little prep work before starting run, kill a dodo harvest hide make couple bolas if you see a raptor runing towards you just simply bola it and keep on running

What does notes do?
collecting them give you a instant xp boost, this is the reason why we hit this high level in just 5 minutes, also will give you much more xp for the time you have the boost active

Do I do something wrong because I only get into the 60s of levels
I am on ps4, I am not getting any 4x notes in singleplayer but I get them while playing on official. What is the reason for this? I have gone through setting and tried changing them around but nothing bring back the 4x bonus, I remember getting it playing singleplayer less than a year ago...
do not think its possible to turn it on on single-player, for some weird reason you only get 4x xp notes on single-player instead of the 4x and 2x notes so you will get less exp on single-player unless you boost the gained exp
@JonnaX I am reinstalling right now, but I was getting the opposite! I was only getting 2x and no 4x from any special notes on single player as well! Gotta be a me specific bug because I checked all over reddit and couldn't find a damn thing. Thank you for replying hopefully the reinstall fixes this.
@JonnaX yeah I am stumped. After doing this run, I have like 5100 seconds of 2x xp but no 4x gold arrow bonus. After getting all the notes, I am level 58, which is still decent, but I can't help but feel like I'm being cheated by a bug or a game setting. Makes no fucking sense, what a piss off.

I can’t get the 4x on arkpocalypse cos it spiked off
Got lost. Killed by a bug. Easier if it was slowed down and marked out on a map. As well as on a server that still had a lot of resources around. (Trees & rocks.)
play in half speed, also the coordinates for every note are showed in the video m8

make sure to pay close attention to the video, also i include the map and gps coordinate with each note
whenever i do this run a random carno comes and kills me ;-;
this is why you level movement speed a lot first, manage your stamina only run when needed so you always have some left in the tank, use stim berries for unlimited stamina recovery and pay attention - if you follow these you will be fine
Mine stopped giving exp at level 44

True but than you need a mind wipe potion or your speedy gonzalezing your way off a cliff. PVE it's more challenging because of all the builds people add to the map. PVP I think it's best just to build storage boxes until you get bolas. Only bugs and carnos will* be able to wreck you after that

Y is ur route so clear but mine has dense jungle
this is completed on official servers so whenever structures are nearby it effects what trees will respawn, however just pay close attention to where i am going and i include gps and map coordinates with every note!
This is really hard to follow with all the trees and rocks missing ;-;
this is completed in small tribes to make it as realistic as possible, most servers are build up similar like this, if understand it can be a bit confusing sometimes yes. but the coordinaters are also there, if you are struggeling you can rewatch or play in slomo

you need to collect all the noted without a death, if you die during the run you will loose a lot of the potential xp gains

nope, but you can make a new character and restart it if that is no problem
Maybe try a different island server :) . Make sure you add the server you want as your main one marked as favorites so you can find it easier
