1. Glad you both (and your producers) are safe. Those LA fires are no joke. 2) I’ve never clocked on a video faster. I miss hearing you both talk about this surprisingly good Star Wars show.
Happy to see you back. And I def agree that this show is golden and it should get more viewership. It and Andor are the best we’ve gotten. I legitimately felt full of wonder every episode
First, great to see both of you again. Second, I really do understand where Joanna is coming from. But I'm more on the Mal side of things - I loved the show, I am absolutely invested in these characters, Episode 6 was a better episode of TV than a lot of series will have at their peak in 2024 & when I see that, it makes me interested in seeing how these kids grow in this particular property. So I hope that somehow, this show gets a second season - yeah, the kids are already two days older today but there's nothing wrong with a time jump in this universe as they progress through adolescence into adulthood in a galaxy far far away. We don't get that in Star Wars and I'd really love to see it.
I don't know why people kept thinking Rennod would be the Supervisor or be involved in At Attin at all. In episode 5 SM33 says, immediately after stating that he has all of his memories back, that Rennod was stabbed by his concubine and killed, which means that the skeleton that Neel and Wim find, and that Jod in episode 3 pulls the knife out of, is Rennod. He didn't escape, he rigged the ship to crash and had 33 lock them all in (hence why the kids found him with his hand on the lever that shut the doors).
Glad to see you are safe. I think Jod has potential for redemption. He had multiple times he could have simply killed the parents, the children, and taken all the gold, but he held back. I think he's like Jaime Lanister. He's playing up the villain role as a front because that's how survives. I enjoyed the hell out of this show. This was my children's first Star Wars experience, and they loved it. Finale was a touch rushed. I wish we had 10 episodes, but we can't everything. Jude Law fits like a glove in this universe.
As someone who’s not a huge Star Wars fan, it’s genuinely bizarre to me how many of the Disney+ shows are so hyper focused with the prequel era and order 66
Disney doesn't trust audiences to follow things they haven't seen before, which is stupid. Order 66 was a major event, but imho they haven't quite nailed the tragedy and its repercussions, so they keep taking swings at it. They need to film a full on rated M Order 66 Saving Private Ryan type scene. It's getting a little out of hand how if they want to justify a force user post prequels they just drag out a padawan from order 66. It's losing its impact. Jedi Fallen Order probably did the best job because you spend hours playing a a character who has constant survivors guilt
I think the parents didnt comprehend that the kids blasted off so far. Thus they sent the buoy which the kids could only receive that easily cz luck had them that close to barrier. Wendell also was surprised that they could fly the ship. So probably they thought kids were suspended for a while in vacuum beyond outer space and were brought in by an emissary who saw them hanging out
Remember when Patty Jenkins was supposed to make a Rogue Squadron movie based on X-wing pilots? What if they were the kids from the Skeleton Crew grown up?
I didn't fall in love with Star Wars in the 70s, I don't necessarily want them to be digitally resurrected, but I would enjoy seeing their continued adventures.
The Order 66 message was automated and very broadly disseminated. Obi-Wan’s warning message was widely broadcast but only to Jedi and their allies, which was a much smaller set. At-Attin is in the Outer Rim. If no one remembered they were there, chances are good that it had been decades, or even centuries, since they had gotten *any* official message. And then they get this message that the Jedi were traitors. The Supervisor doesn’t know this is an automated recorded broadcast that’s going to everyone in the galaxy. The Supervisor probably deduced it was even more important to protect the planet.
I don’t trust ur honest with how u feel about these shows cause u don’t want to be negative with content people are psychos about. U have loved every star wars show & reviewed them all positively, yet u have no problem now admitting those shows were average at best.
Uneventful..lol what a strange take. It was full of action and most of the set ups were paid off. People want everything spoon fed to them. Write some fan fiction. Post a link so we can read how you would have ended it.
@@sumerlawrence Agree... I never once read any comments from people asking and hoping they would slow things down in the finale of any series/show. NEVER😀 Instead, its always "omg there's so much threads/plots left, I hope they'll explain this/that blah, blah...." Anyways, no tv series/show has a perfect finale. None. And I'm an avid BTVS(Buffy), Angel, and Trek(Tng, ds9, Voy) fan. And those finales were great to me.

So happy to see you both!!
Glad you all are safe and back missed you
Happy to see you both safe. I loved this series. ❤
So glad you two are alright! Wishing well wishes to you and yours

I think Star Wars just found the next Han Solo in Skeleton Crew.
Glad to see you are safe.

Neel got good at falling 😅
A form of adult 😂. Valentine’s Day episode can’t freaking wait! ❤
I got excited and thought you said Legend of Vox Machina 😅
Fern gives big Cera vibes from Land Before Time, ngl...

Well it’s a major time event that affected everything in the galaxy
Disney doesn't trust audiences to follow things they haven't seen before, which is stupid. I think its because Dave Filoni is creatively running a lot of the shows and he has more of a connection with the Clone War era

The supervisor's a droid? Disney+ is already conditioning kids to work for an algorithm
Conditioning? No, in fact it’s a lesson about blind obedience.
PALPATINES TAINT 😨😨😨

Yeah you might want to listen again. They were pretty down on Book of Boba, Obi-Wan, and Mando s3 in real time
I reeeeeally wish this ending were better. It felt rushed and uneventful somehow
The ending was epic and very hopeful. Not as uneventful and depressing as you making it. But we can all agree to disagree.
Uneventful..lol what a strange take. It was full of action and most of the set ups were paid off. People want everything spoon fed to them. Write some fan fiction. Post a link so we can read how you would have ended it.
If it answers everything you leave no room for future seasons

To be fair most series’ finals are notoriously hard to end
