    Some day you should put together a couple of videos on how to cook and eat well on the road. You seem to have that mastered.

    I remember the lady who didn’t want to be on camera either but she took you to lunch at a casino and gave you a Peruvian Flute. I hope that you will always have the good luck to meet nice people on your travels because you seem like a nice person too. And I also hope that Cholula gives you a small stipend for your advertising them. Or at least send you a free box of that stuff every six months.

    There it is! That's just what I want! Somebody else to set up camp and cook hahahaha. No, really, incredible find that actually brought tears to my eyes. I'm having a hard time getting away and sometimes it just plain hurts that I can't yet (I don't have the control over my assets). Good & happy travels to you sweetie. .. I can talk to you that way 'cause when ya get elderly it's allowed😳

    Brian, this video is making me hungry as usual...your cooking is always the best part of your video's!....It's too bad you couldn't do an interview with John...it would have been nice to hear his story and see the inside of his van. Anyway, thanks for showing us this beautiful location.

    • @AdventureVanMan
      @AdventureVanMan  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks, ya John has no interest in being on youtube! I dont blame him, it can be a cruel place:) His story is pretty simple. He wasnt happy in New York so he bought a van and now lives on the road. He does accounting so he can work remotely from his iPhone. Living the dream! :)

    Brian, another enjoyable video. Love the places you go and the campsites you choose. Also, your culinary skills are very good! You don't cut up food items like you do without lots of practice. Tell us your background please in regards to food prep, cooking, menu ideas, etc. One of the main reasons I do day camping is to cook (and eat) in the great outdoors. Funny thing, even a grilled cheese sandwich tastes better than at home! lol

    brian, why dont u make a small ice cooler air conditioner to use off 12v fan and a block of ice while your boondocking. basically its a small cooler, add a block of ice, pvc tube out
    one end and hole in other, powerful 12v fan attached to hole and u have a cool blowing ac. the ice block lasts 2 to 3 days. use it boondocking. i made one and it was better than a real ac, very tiny draw on battery to

If you had the choice, would you like a full time travelling companion, or do you prefer travelling on your own interspersed with meet ups?

    That dog loves you.....r cooking. Can you teach Nomadic Fanatic how to cook? He eats so much of that highly processed crap that I'm afraid his fat cat Jax is going to outlive him. When I lived in an RV for over 2 years I cooked everything from scratch, including my bread & yogurt. I was physically fit, healthy & full of energy. I rode my bike everywhere. I did all that to save money for my travels, but it had other benefits. Processed foods are full of chemicals, salt & very expensive. You cook some tasty looking food on one burner. I'm impressed.

    Hi Brian,
    One thing I wondered if you have no AC and its 100 degrees.....how do you sleep or stand it outside?
    That would be a problem for me living in a rv full time. Has to be miserable when its that hot being as I living in Fl, just getting into a hot car is bad enough before getting it cooled down. I feel for you Ryan it being that hot , that would make for a miserable sleep even with a fan.
    No one talks about that much on video, just saying.
    Do love your videos though! ☺

    I'm curious.... you have a commercial truck....how is it registered? Commercial plates? What state? I know that in some states you are forced to go the expensive commercial route.... aside from the extra cost.... you can loose stealth. For instance in New York City you can't park a commercial vehicle with other cars overnight. I'm assuming that you don't have a commercial.
