Yup I can relate to this. Back in 2011, I had a work trip to Dallas from Wisconsin. A co-worker and I had planned on leaving on a Sunday to fly out of Minneapolis. Well, since it was a January trip, of course snow had to be forecast for the day we were leaving. Well, my co-worker was nervous about something being delayed with the flight, so the flight time was switched and we had to leave in about 2 hours. Little was packed, and my clothes were hanging out to dry from being washed earlier that morning. They were still damp. Clothes were a little wrinkled, but I survived. We all survived. We did what we needed to do, and made it home in once piece. Not ideal at all, but life went on. Thanks for the video! Looking forward to hearing all about your trip once you get back.

Last year I finished year 12 and almost missed one of my final exams thinking it was the next day, fair to say I've never been so stressed in around 30 minutes or so in my life! I made it about 10 minutes before the start of the actual exam and still can't imagine missing it, but I completely get this video. By the time I actually sat down in my seat for the exam I was so so calm (unbelievably) and ended up doing really well!
I am so sorry that happened to you Connor. I know you are very organized person so you must have been freaking out, but I am glad you got through it. I believe that you are totally right about how these situations help you grow as a human. I am terrible in when something unexpected happens especially when you have it planned in your calendar and something goes terribly wrong.

Something happened today that stressed me out and I just remembered that you made this video so I decided to watch it back. And you're so right. What I'll take away from my experience is that because of it I've managed to pinpoint that I have control issues. I need everything that happens in my day to be planned and emotionally prepared for into every little detail. I need to know what I'm going to do, where I'm going to be, what's going to happen when, who's going to be there etc. If anything in that schedule and that plan for some reason gets disrupted, I break down and it ruins my day. But now that I'm aware of it, I'll be able to work on it and figure out ways to deal with a situation like this. I learned something about myself and now I'll know for next time. ☺
Ok tbh its an insane blessing that I came across this video tonight. I literally just got thrown into a situation in choir today where my teacher gave me this french song and said here go learn this and perform it with this group tomorrow morning... memorized.... I got to work and had most of it learned by the end of the school day, except the two verses. Now it is midnight and I'm trying to learn these verses and i have to perform them in 9 hours... I mean you probably don't care and my situation isn't nearly as stressful as yours but i just thought i would share that with you. :)

Omg!!! The same same same situation just happened to me this last tuesday. I thought I was a drama queen because I started to cry an hour before the trip instead of packing... Sincerely I don't know how I did it. Thankfully my sister helped me (well, as I was crying she had worried). It just passed away and from one time to another I was in the bus with the group ready to leave my city for a week, with one only bag! And asking to myself what was so difficult that I wanted to give up... I'm so grateful that your shared your story because it makes me notice how common it is, or at least, that I'm not the only insane person ;D
