I could probably get in touch with you at some point and make some kind of deal. I've been growing Cryptocoryne nurii 'Rosen Maiden' for the last 2 years and in June threw away about 6 grocery bags full of it due to moving and needing to redo my tank. Still have about 2 sq.ft. of it but much more loosely planted than before my move during which I had to destroy a lot of them to get them uprooted. That being said, I will probably want to hold on to most of it for now as I am preparing to make some major changes and want to make sure it recovers well and continues growing with vigor.

Awesome informative video! I love how you can make informative videos that even someone who is a novice can understand without feeling overwhelmed. Heck yes tweezle-twazzle planting tips!
These videos your doing are great! It’s progress to grow the channel. I love your channel and appreciate all the time you put into getting us content. Keep up the good work and I’m confident you will grow big this year with subscribers if you keep putting in the effort. Best wishes to you and your family!
Ate those two the only ferts you use for growing cryptocorynes as general? I have a river peagravel substrate. Can I grow them with only liquid fertilizer?
Sweet crypt species! I'm always looking for new crypts so I'll have to keep an eye out for the nurii. It's leaf structure kind of reminds me of crypt petchii
Pink crypt is on my menu soon i plant my crypt by roots and the fish i have bury them more and they spread under the substrate and sprout babies in random places hard to keep in one area...... Maybe my sub is really fine and that's why it shoves its way Where ever it wants
Great these plant species vids. Can you please show them in a week or so when they are acclimated/ growing. I know they can turn out a little different ( color wise) in different tanks but if you will show them we get a pretty good idea how they look. Most pictures from plant firms show the most ideal situation possible ( plant at its best) but that's not often doable for us hobbyists ( strange word). Thanks for sharing Joel.Have a very nice day
Hi Cory do you no what par levels you are running at the substrate level In your planted tanks ,allso do you no the kh , gh of yours tanks and do you run ro water.?
You made me laugh with the tweezle twasles. Thanks for the tip on planting the crypts. I get so frustrated when plants float to the top after I put them in the perfect place.
No,that handful is more like $75 retail. Have you seen the price of one single C.wendti in a pot? The demand for plants has driven up the prices of perennial water plants even if stem plants are are still affordable. I see Flamingos in tissue culture for $30 and up. Bolbitis is hovering at $25 for a single 2-4" stem.
Yep, he also uses Easy Iron. Some plants that have a reddish/purple tint to them or layers of other red-blue blend colors require a little extra iron in their ferts to maintain the color.
Matthew Kelly thanks I wasn’t 100% on that, I mix my own and have it on a auto doser but I’ve got a major black beard problem was thinking maybe I shouldn’t do it myself, but the easy green is like one squirt twice a week would make a pump kinda pointless I feel
@@skinsandcelticsfan3408 That sounds pretty cool, mixing your own fertilizers - the most I do is add a bit of Fe to the doses I use on my tanks that need it, otherwise I use the Flourish Comprehensive formula (people don't even know there's different kinds of Flourish and it's crazy how different they are!). I haven't made the leap and gotten Easy Green yet mainly because I've had all of my Flourish, Prime, Stress Coat, etc. on Amazon auto-order for so long that I keep forgetting...
Matthew Kelly it can be a pain, and like idk why I got so much black beard, and it’s mainly on the hard scape, but I just mix some dechlorinated water and the ferts and it auto doses, been thinking of a prepared fert but I wanna keep using the pump, but that does 100ml every other day(it’s really diluted) and I’m pretty sure the easy green is like 1 pump equals 5 mls so idk if I could just dilute that with water too
Stuck in a shitty apartment in a bad neighborhood You just described me but I'm gettin’ out soon You know you’ve been in the hood too long when even your fish starts slaggin’ rocks💀😂
I've had the pleasure of collecting rare & wild crypts in the jungles of the Malayan Peninsula. And I can tell you there are tons of nurii variants out there. One form of nurii from Johor even has purplish leaves with red veins, while a rare form of C. affinis called 'Metallic Red' whose leaves have FIERY red veins can be found in West Malaysia. Unlike their Sri Lankan cousins, however Malaysian cryptocoryne species are VERY slow-growing. Thus, they're not readily available commercially. The caveat? The unrivalled beauty of Malaysian crypts put the bread & butter petstore crypts, even Pink Flamingo to shame. Nurii, to me is The most besutiful crypt of all!
@@CorvusOscen I'm a simple man, really. I see somebody with a C affinis 'Metallic Red'? I know this one is a SERIOUS collector - they don't come cheap! Kudos to you, good Sir. I'm a serious collector too. As in, standing knee deep in a Malaysian river with a grocery basket, on a turf of Metallic Reds going, "Nah, not this one... not red enough." Lol! 🤣

I want it too !!
I am new in aquatic plants, but I LOVE gardening. Thanks for your video
I like the background music. Kinda slow and steady, pretty chill, just like most cryptocoryne species in general lol
Hi Corvus, i hope all is well. Can you make an updated video of all these Crypts and he other plants in your tank? Thank you!
Very nice tanks you have. I have just aquired crypt nurii yippie
Just got some nurii rosen maiden myself! The tiny plant that was sold to me is looking kinda weak but i hope it springs back up soon!

Much appreciate all the plant information that you put out. Keep it coming. Thanks and Cheers.
Nice looking plant
Thanks for the tips, especially the one for how to plant it.
Nice plant. Awesome camera 👍
What are the small reddish looking plants to the left of the Crypt Nurii?
Good looking plant would love to get some myself
Great hookup from my MN Bros!
Do you mind sharing your light regimen on this tank? Looks great.
Great vid Corvus. BucePlant has tissue cultures of these, in case no one else mentioned it. Just bought some...wish me luck!

What is the small red/pink plant at the foreground next to the crypt ? (Also looks like cryptocoryne but really short)
What is the plant just to the left of the Nurii you planted?
yet another cool crypt! nice
Totally cool plant for sure!

8:10 for epic planting tip
I’m going to need those twazzles! Is it best to separate rhecrypts so they don’t die off and thrive?
lighting used?
Was that dirt substrate?
Absolutely not.

Tweezle twazzles for life!
The music is top notch.
Thanks Sam!
What is the pink plant to the left??
Pink Flamingo Cryptocryne
Any suggestions on where to buy good healthy ludwigia palustris?
I appreciate the help
buceplant.com is probably your best bet for an easy place to get it.
Tropica carries some nice cultures!

Hey Joel, any updates on these?
One coming soon. They are doing really well in a few tanks currently
I'm pining away for some tweezle twazzles and a pair of long curved plant scissors. Alas, I have other tank and fish related priorities at the moment.
There might be an option coming up just for you in the future!
My experience is that crypts can be planted quite deep.
What kind of substrate is that?
Fluval stratum, ada aqua soil and fluorite sand
Are you experiencing the bad winter snow and ice storm ?
Currently, just chilly and wet
How big should one expect these to grow? Been thinking about spending the money on nurii rosen maiden but it's a spendy plant lol
That plant is local in my country Malaysia. I got few for free from an online seller. He even told me not to give to anyone else 😂
Can you send some seeds to Bangladesh? Please? I will pay if you want.
