@@brazilianknuckles1725 at least Guardevoir makes sense since its based on a human concept. Not to say the art is bad, because it’s not but like most of these work better as regional variants as opposed to gender. For example, Delphox being a samurai instead of a witch. It’s an awesome regional variant idea, but not so much for gender. There are a few good ones, like Swampert! It’s relatively low key and I generally like it. (Not sure about the eggs underneath it, but I vibe with it mostly.) it’s cool.

The thing I like about some of these is that they have a clear difference between the artist's male and female depictions, while still maintaining a great understanding of good pokemon design that stays true to the each's original inspirations without being sexist. Some good examples of these are Dewott and Servine. Then there's Charizard and Primarina.
it's baffling to me how you think you can make something more """""feminine""""" by making things rounder and adding flowers, and something more """""masculine"""" by adding....swords? and sharp things?

The female is awesome I love it
thats not a samurai thats a water bender
Bulbasaur, Sceptile, Blaziken, Infernape, Grottle, Prinplup, Snivy’s entire line lol, Dewott, Chenaught, rowlett and it’s 1st evolution
These ones looked really really good!! I also really liked how you added new additions to baby pkmn and then continued to develop them through each evolution (like flower on Pikachu line and Turtwig line, the more autumn-y leaves on Chikorita, and many others!!)
The thing I like about some of these is that they have a clear difference between the artist's male and female depictions, while still maintaining a great understanding of good pokemon design that stays true to the each's original inspirations without being sexist. Some good examples of these are Dewott and Servine.
Then there's Charizard and Primarina.
Torchic line already has gender differences
But i Love the Fennekin line differences NGL
@RioInTheSkies ikr
Me too but the male evolutions drive away from the Fennekin's lines theme

How can you think that a sword up your tail is more like a male, Than a stick?
5:13
okay, so i know that this whole video is stereotyping but this one is EPIC.
You are The best drawer you must be a animator 😀
3:24 I kinda prefer this design ngl. It make the Pokémon seem more like a ninja ya know?
it's baffling to me how you think you can make something more """""feminine""""" by making things rounder and adding flowers, and something more """""masculine"""" by adding....swords? and sharp things?
I mean... isn't like this how gender diferençes work in pokemon? Some of the ones in this video are too over the top with steriotypes, but in nature the male of a species needs to look intimidating, and the female charming, is just how it is. (But I guess that some things like the lipstick on wobbuffet damages my point...)
@@oscarrenaupallares330 not exactly. Most gender difference in pokemon are:
Base form + slight length changes for things like horns and other
Meanwhile this video takes the stance of Nidoking VS Nidoqueen rather than something like Venusaur, which does actually already have a gender difference. Venusaur's flower gets a little thing on it for females. Thats it. And thats fine.
Not ever gender difference needs to be as crazy as Nidoking VS Nidoqueen or Meowstic M&F
@@as-ei3sy Well , thats how they introduced gender variation originally ( and in the video they used the more "feminine" pokemon as the female, and added a male)
@@as-ei3sy Totally, but that wasn't my point,
@@ZubtigoPlaza different species different mecanics, I meant more in general. There are actually "contradictory" gender traits now that I think about it, thanks for making me realise

One of the ways to gender turtles in real life is to look at the shells, the females are a bit flatter on top and males curve inward a bit on the bottom.

Unpopular opinion: I like almost all of these designs. And I am a female. I find these cute and appealing. Sure, they may be over the top, but that's the point of a redesign. It's no fun to make slight alterations. I enjoy your work, keep it up.
i think they look very adorable
I agree!

When u go on a diet
aaaw why the fenkin line went samurai? it could have made just another flavor of wizard/warlock
I love blaziken's design...nice work shin art
OH MY GOSH FEMALE ROWLET IS THE CUTEST EVER EXISTING
7:58 - 8:17 : You kinda got rid of the water aspect of it. Now it's kinda a ice type. Nothing wrong with it, just gets rid of the fire, grass, and water type at the start of the game. It's cool but still.
My opinion is that not doing much changes to the female sprite would work better, well that's what I say though still I think that those are good looking sprites

How creative you are. All these characters are very tender; to be honest. The ones I liked the most were: Blaziken, Greninja, Venusaur, Primarina and Meganium. Among the others, I loved Pikachu and Raichu the most, they are so cute with that flower on their heads, if that is to say about Pichu ... KAWAII !!
Most of the changes are way too drastic, then there are some where they just added eyelashes and tweaked the design a bit.The artist should be consistent in their drawings assuming these were all created by 1 person.they should choose either to add more detail or go for the subtle style instead. Some of the designs were done pretty well like the serperior female form and the blastoise female form then there are others that change the design way too much such as female Charizard and feraligator like giving charizard the breast plate from nidoqueen? and changing the fins which makes the pokemon jarring to look at.
ShinArt i appreciate your drawings but some people are mad against you.
I hope that you avoid thise kind of people.
Anyways i like all of them XD
Ash Greninja doesn’t make any sense, it looks male, because it’s mixed with Ash...

Hey, I know it's been quite a while since you have done any pokemon fusions, but can you please make Mega Charizard X and Zekrom, and Mega Charizard Y and Reshiram. I can't really find any drawings of those fusions, and even though I'm decent at regular pencil and paper drawings, I don't have a drawing tablet yet, and I know that I can't do them justice without doing it digitally. Can you please make them? I know you have the skill to really make them look amazing.
Love your videos, and either way, keep up the good work.
