People do seem to get bored very easily. At the same time everyone has so many barriers up and makes it very difficult to be with them. We see someone who looks hot and we think they will be all those things but after awhile we find out they are more than that or just a regular person.

Agreed....that's the problem with folks on dating apps. It's what makes women see men as just their height and income and what makes men see women as just a pretty face. I would say it's the same problem that women have who have dated and/or slept with dozens of men, they seem to get addicted to the feeling/idea of wanting the next best thing, getting bored and wanting to move on. In the same way that she can't change him into the man she wants, he can't change her either.
I tried to date 4 times and all of them ended, I'm 28 and I feel too old for dates or to meet people. Yeah true, the problem here is that people are always on their phone and it’s not romantic like it used to be like show me where the fountain is instead just sending the location. Also in social media or dating apps you already about the person but it is not romantic cause the whole point is enjoying the process of getting to know someone by how the behave and talk, etc. Myself I’m single and I never had a girlfriend, I am 17. Yeah it’s true especially in boys the standards of some girls are so high and the other girls are just too shy, like you I just try to focus on myself and I kind of learnt how to get along alone.
Bro I tried to date like 20 times before having a date that went well. From there it mostly went better and better (sometimes a few disasters too 😂) and now I've been in love with my girlfriend for almost 7 years 😊 Since your already used to working on yourself and being good, pround and having fun on your own, you've basically done the hard work. If Id done that before trying hard for dates, wouldnt have needed so many bad dates 😂
28 is very young. I was at my peak late 20s to early 30s. I pretty much had a new 1st date every week and probably slept with half of them. The only reason I stopped is that it gets boring after 3 or 4 years. As a guy, you are coming up to your peak

There is no age limit for dating. I think we need to get to know the other person more before we get into a relationship. What are their values and attitudes in life and find out if they are even compatible to continue spending time with that person. Make sure that you weed out the deal breakers first. An example of a deal breaker for me is if someone is a smoker or alcoholic. I know it's not going to work. Another point is eating habits. Does the person value a healthy lifestyle or not. Just some of my thoughts.

Obviously you are clueless to what's going on. "Diverse" is a euphemism for non-White, white families being destroyed since last century. We will soon go extinct, sitting at 6-8% of world population being white and rapidly decreasing.
Yeah I think too many guys that are lonely tend to binge watch this type of content and end up feeling even worse and more hopeless. They get into echo chambers and just make each other miserable . They need to just go out more, smile and talk to women

No. Men are smarter than women and women will ALWAYS want someone who is smarter (unless they are manipulating a dumb man for resources with no intent on staying after they steal his money).
This was such a necessary video. You could honestly make an entire mini series about this topic. Also, I love your branded mic cover! That’s a nice touch!
I’m a 27 year old male and have completely gave up on the dating apps/scene. Been single for 4 years and rarely would get any matches on the three dating apps that I’ve used which drained my confidence completely, ever since I’ve stopped using them I’ve felt much better about myself but I’m so jaded from that experience I have no desire to pursue women anymore. I’ve chosen to stick to the route of meeting someone naturally like that one girl said in the video but she’s gonna have to tell me she’s interested because I’m done trying. Rather spend my time and energy on myself than feel like a fool chasing after women.
I feel the same about guys. Would you like it if a girl chose to speak with you even after you chose to take things easy after the first date? What’s your thoughts?
I ignore 99% of men and only date Chads. Most men are invisible to me but if a Chad who is tall, good-looking, and well-educated pursues me, I will show interest or sometimes act as a doormat pleasingly. 😢 I hate it when mediocre men show interest in me. 🤬🤬
If you expect women that you just met to come out and tell you they are interested then you will be very disappointed. Women like to show you they are interested through their actions and behavior(non verbal).. plus many women try to play the “I don’t want to look too eager!” Game too. I have never had much of a problem meeting women and having them be attracted to me but I find pretty much everything that comes after that as being confusing and very draining!
@@brianmeen2158 I don’t expect anything, which is why I said I’m done trying. Girls have never found me desirable. It is what it is, I do what I can but it’s the hand I was dealt and I’ve slowly come to accept that.
YOUR Friendship/Relationship is SO REFRESHING!!! for people who are single and have not met their BETTER HALF in life. THANK ❤YOU!! for sharing your before/after & CURRENT situation. IMHO, this video will help many people who chooses to be “ALONE” to have a MORE POSITIVE MINDSET to work smarter in finding their match in life. 😇
Online dating really sucks if you have no boundaries and tolerate how strangers disrespect you. That's what I learned from my past experiences while interacting online. Now, I just remain single and wait for the day when I heal from my traumas and stuff. Allow yourself to love MORE about yourself while waiting for a stronger connection with a new person one day in actual meetings. Online dating is really not for everyone. But some of them here are so lucky. I also hope one day, I meet a person who will respect and appreciate me as a woman and as a person as well. We all deserve true love and build a great family. 🙏💖
My husband and I met online in 2010. I’m Ukrainian, he is Russian, 1500 kilometres apart😊 We were playing cards online. There was a chat where we could write comments while playing. He was so fun, his jokes made me laugh a lot. Next day we met again to play and he asked me what I thought about him coming to Ukraine to meet me. I thought that was another joke😅. We started texting, then calling each other and then he really came. Married for ten years now. Two kids, house and a cat😊.
That's a really cute story about how you and Sharon met. I think that meeting someone and getting to know them in person is much better than any dating app. I wish you guys many happy years!
Meeting on insta vs dating apps is a slightly different story though. Instagram can give you quite a bit of data on the person to resonate with. Creative expression, thought process, intellect, taste, voice, body language. There’s a lot more room for authenticity and vulnerability there to actually feel drawn to someone.
I love how this video is not your traditional Q&A interview. The way you integrated your own story (and Sharon’s) into this was so beautiful. Thank you so much for an amazing video!
I met my husband online. And it wasn't a dating app. It was a website for finding language exchange people to talk to. We both wanted to practice English. We met on Skype the next day and immediately clicked with each other. Now, 4 years later we're married. At that time we both lived in different countries.
I met my husband online in 2013. We talked everyday for two months, then met each other. Been together ever since 🥰 with two kids. I think it worked for us, because we had a lot of things in common and both want to be married, and have children. last, we put each other as priorities and talked a lot about our future.
The way you guys met is the same way I met my ex girlfriend she just texted me saying she liked my content, the video from when you guys met is so nostalgic to me because we also had the same vibe chilling, laughing and calling eachother cute, the thumbs up spoke to me because we used to do the exact same thing from when we started dating to the end. Unfortunately we broke up recently but we both share some amazing memories together. (Also funny note is we're both from Montreal loll)
Everything tastes better in Paris. I’m actually really happy there weren’t dating apps back in the 80s when I met my husband. Much less complicated. I like what the one girl said about love being a constant decision to say “that’s my person”.
What a beautiful and interesting video! Such good energy from all of you, interviewer and interviewees alike. Also, you'really cut out for what you're doing, mate, and you keep getting better and better. Lastly, I hope you and your girlfriend keep giving each other reasons to confirm your choice to be with each other, and always be in love with each other. It's the little details; the way the other talks to people and treats people, the little gestures... There's so much to fall in love with, in someone... Over here, always looking forward to your next video!
3:02 this is a recurrent thing I hear from long lasting couples, the first meeting is a long conversation where people confirm that they have similar values and goals.
Don’t rush to find “The One” allow connections to develop naturally and enjoy the experience. By starting this journey you’ll likely to gain clarity and feel connected to the dating rather than just dating journey happen to you.
I have retired from dating apps. They zap you of happiness and produce endless frustration and anxiety. I would absolutely love to fall in love, but dating apps are not the route to do this. I am open to any other ideas. I hope others are having more luck than me!
This generation is so socially awkward. They may be in tune when it comes to social media and speaking in incomplete texts and emojis but when it comes to socializing in person they lack the skills. I had a kid who needed to get past me in our row at a hockey game and he just stood there awkwardly and didn't say a word until I recognized his presence. Could he have been on the spectrum or something, maybe, but it's not the only occasion that same approach has happened to me. People just don't know how to communicate. When you text in pieces of sentences, you practice the lack of ability to form complete thoughts and sentences in person. You lack the ability to sense emotion, get instance visual feedback, read a room, or feel in the moment. I was taught by my parents to always use your pleases, thank yous, and excuse mes, but we've seemed to lose the basics of social interaction and manners these days because we've been so disconnected by being "connected". Dating is not much different. They have to learn to socialize with a person to meet someone organically. Not having places to meet people is an excuse for their inability to meet someone in person. It's hard, it takes guts, and a bit of risk, but that's what makes it all worth it. Not just swiping because you don't like someone before you've even met them. That's not how you find a person, in fact that's how you can miss an opportunity. If you go buy a car or clothes, wouldn't you rather feel it, see it, try it out, experience it, and then make your decision, instead of just seeing a photo and deciding if it's right for you? Half the experience is lost already before you even meet the person because now you have all these expectations that they might not be able to live up to based on what you know of them already.
I flew from Belgium to Istanbul to meet my girlfriend for the first time. She had a flight going from China to Cuba with a layover in Istanbul. I had calculated everything but I didn't take into account there were 2 airports in Istanbul. I had to get to the other airport and to get in the passengers zone, I needed a ticket. I bought a ticket, passed security and there we had our first date :)
I am looking at the ages of most people interviewed here. If we went back to the 1960s these people would be married by now. Some of them might even have children. That was because marriage and family were valued differently back then. By thinking there is unlimited choice on dating apps, people are not settling for a person who is "just good enough" for a spouse. By their 30s, the majority of single people will never marry because the cards are stacked against them.
This is a good video, but I have to point out that Sprouht and his girlfriend, Sharon, met online but not through a dating app. They met because they are both in the social media business and they had that in common. I think online can cut both ways but I also think you have a better chance of success if you have something in common with the person and the business of social media is a very specific lifestyle so they both had that in common, which is a big deal.
You spoke to mainly women in this video and we all know women are wise when it comes to this topic. Its men who need to understand the virtue of nuturing connection and the patience to make something work.
'' don't be afraid to get hurt. The worst case scenario is : you didn't try at all '' Yeah no... Worst case scenario you end up homeless destitute and traumatized for life
Why no one is talking about how bad dating apps are ? i mean, they don't try to find you a match based on common interests. its usually based on picture.
So that girl went out with her date along with her friends on her birthday, and she expected the date to foot the bill, and then was taken aback because he refused to pay the bill. Why the hell would he pay for all of you?
He probably didn't have a single drink which is why he gave her the bill (and probably immediately left). I like how she just conveniently left out the details.
I met my husband in an online game. But the point is that in games we kinda spend time together and get to know eachother day by day. Dating apps aren't exactly like that. It's all about validation. It's about who has the most boring profile, as the guy in the video have said, and that's very sad.
@@scoopydoo6351 I can get into them just cant maintain them. Some people can do it others cant. Its not something Im going to waste the rest of my life crying over, honestly once you accept how you are your life becomes more enjoyable instantly.
“i’m not getting matches with certain people that i’d like to get matches with, and then i take that to the real world and i’m like ‘she will never be into me, because i haven’t seen that person like me on tinder” I feel this statement within my bones. It’s so hard to think i’m attractive to the men i like because in the back of my brain i’m like “he would never be attracted to black boys like me / i doubt they’d like me unless i get hotter.” sometimes it’s soul crushing, but what keeps me a float is that i did have a guy who i like reciprocate it back to me. it was short lived but that’s proof that i am worthy enough to find it again. just not on dating apps hahah
I'm so happy to see young, intelligent, eloquent people in your interview here. I often see young ones having no common sense in other channels! Gives me hope about the youth of today.
Unfortunately it only gets worse as you get older. I'm a 61 year old male that has moved several times in the last couple of years because of employment and each time I have attempted to use apps to meet people in my new city. I just met my first person, in person, in 14 years, only to be ghosted by them after the first meeting. Most often I'm catfished by younger women who see me as an easy target. So good luck to the younger generation, I hope you get to experience love, it can be amazing.
These apps are not created for people to find love. They are a business, and they won't make a ton of money on people finding love and deleting the apps. The paradox of choice is a real thing where more options leads to more confusion, and inability to choose. People always look for the next best thing.
Love yourself first, remember the best and most fulfilling relationship you will ever have, is the one you have with yourself, oh and God too of course😊
I tried online dating after I was widowed 14 years ago. I realized I would never find anyone close to whom my husband was and quit. I had 24 years and the rest I will spend alone.
@ConfusedRiver-ff6lh 5 years after my husband died I spent 5 years caring for my aging mother. The whole deal bathing her making her breakfast lunch and dinner cleaning up after her accidents. Saving her from falling all while holding down a full time stressful job and having medical issues. I wouldn’t have done anything else I was happy to help my mother. She died in 2019 and was actually happy she never saw the pandemic which I worked harder through than anytime in my life. And now yes its all about me. I moved hundreds of miles from my home I have a home I adore and it’s just me. I am happy being alone.
The cat that tries desperately to chase its own tail will fail to catch it… it is only once the cat relaxes and becomes natural in its own space will its tail finally come to it. It is the same with good relationships.
I am 39yo dude and one year ago i break with my girlfriend after 10 years together and damn dating world is totally different now. It's so difficult to meet people in real life i couldn't imagine. People are not so social especially younger they don't want serious relationships. Interesting world we live in.
Guys, use your online profile to be straightforwardly honest. List what you seek AND what you don't seek. List what your offering AND what your not offering. List your deal breakers AND ask what his/her deal breakers are. Finally, be honest. Don't oversell yourself. P.S. It's normal to be extremely nervous about meeting in person.
I'll add : put more emphasis on the things that you want, that you are offering and that you are excited about than on the things you don't want and your deal-breakers. It makes you come across as more positive and open-minded
Every guy looks like Brad Pitt and every girl looks like Brie Larson on dating apps. The fact is most people cannot accept that they are average looking. Online dating is like throwing the dice in Vegas and hoping you'll roll a 7 or 11.
Guys, you "met" (messaged each other) not in a date app. You are not an example of online dating, please. In that topic there is a huge difference between dating apps and "we met online".
zero cap, promise I'm not bitter, but online dating is extremely difficult if youre a straight man. Imagine applying to a job where hundreds of applicants have, to stand out and pass days worth of interviews is stressful, hard and not fun. Everything is a red flag (green android bubbles, bios, the way you dress etc.) and there's only so much rejection you can take until it's just easier on your soul to give up and play video games
If you have a decent paying job it requires a similar selection and competitive criteria, so why should finding a life partner be easier? Guys don’t put any real effort into pursuing a real relationship and act like they’re entitled to women’s bodies.
I believe that our habit of instant gratification is what ruins the whole thing cause people just get bored of you

Obviously you are clueless to what's going on. "Diverse" is a euphemism for non-White, white families being destroyed since last century. We will soon go extinct, sitting at 6-8% of world population being white and rapidly decreasing.
Cut the sugar-coated bs please.
Yeah I think too many guys that are lonely tend to binge watch this type of content and end up feeling even worse and more hopeless. They get into echo chambers and just make each other miserable . They need to just go out more, smile and talk to women
Just be happy, how hard can it be damnit.
Meeting someone with the same level of intelligence is the most important thing!!! If you don't have everything in common it's not going to work out! You guys make a beautiful couple! Don't let anything get between your love for each other! Not even your children!
Yay, thank you!
It's a nyc job who they are alone
@@Bella25.47 Depends how the date goes and if she shows as much interest/puts in as much effort as I do.
I’m Ukrainian, he is Russian, 1500 kilometres apart😊
We were playing cards online.
Интересная история у вас 😄
On dating app your choosing primarily by looks and brief description . Rather than someone you've known .
That's a really cute story about how you and Sharon met. I think that meeting someone and getting to know them in person is much better than any dating app. I wish you guys many happy years!
Even as a gay male myself, I don't use social media and dating apps anymore. It's best to find love within yourself.
Yes , become the best version of yourself and everything else should fit around that
Why did u need to mention that U r gay!
amen, it’s tough being a gay poc; but that’s not gonna stop me from being who i want to be
Thank you for reminding us. It's like we need our own love to save ourselves. Self-love❤
Wow, I’m so glad for you both! You both share so many things in common. Wonderful to know you’re living you lives and loving it‼️
Meeting on insta vs dating apps is a slightly different story though.
Lovvve the authenticity and vulnerability of this video. So cool and needed
I met my husband online in 2013. We talked everyday for two months, then met each other. Been together ever since 🥰 with two kids. I think it worked for us, because we had a lot of things in common and both want to be married, and have children. last, we put each other as priorities and talked a lot about our future.
Yes, only if there are same priorities the relationship can succeed and differences be worked out. Same stakes, same efforts.
Because he was good looking. If you are average or below average as man you are completely and utterly invisible to women. And I mean ALL OF THEM.

Awww you twooo are so cute. Please look after one another through all lifes trials and tribulations
Everything tastes better in Paris. I’m actually really happy there weren’t dating apps back in the 80s when I met my husband. Much less complicated. I like what the one girl said about love being a constant decision to say “that’s my person”.
Lots of men are looking for hookups. It’s hard finding a guy who’s serious 😑
Because why buy the cow if the milk is free. You should see what women are doing out here - it's crazy

So true
i mean, it goes both ways, modern day women have the same mentality.
Your videos are worth more than any book on earth. So much wisdom, lessons and values. Good Job man ❤
I just ran into your channel.. I love seeing successful Canadian TH-camrs.
This life advice reminded me of what’s really important in life.
3:02 this is a recurrent thing I hear from long lasting couples, the first meeting is a long conversation where people confirm that they have similar values and goals.
There is something about Sharon… a lightness about her, charisma, and her eyes are beautiful. I think this is your future wife. 🥰🥰🥰
Thank you for your videos man, you’ve given me more faith for love than I’ve had in a looong time. Hope you had a happy New Year!!
Don’t rush to find “The One” allow connections to develop naturally and enjoy the experience. By starting this journey you’ll likely to gain clarity and feel connected to the dating rather than just dating journey happen to you.
Awww this actually made me cry which is rare haha :') thank you for showing the world hope. The videography of this is so awesome ❤
I have retired from dating apps. They zap you of happiness and produce endless frustration and anxiety. I would absolutely love to fall in love, but dating apps are not the route to do this. I am open to any other ideas. I hope others are having more luck than me!
Just have faith and allow it to happen naturally, and most importantly love yourself first🙂
This generation is so socially awkward.
You and Sharon are such a good Match! It seems like you were born for each other.
Facts
And let's not forget many people get divorced too easily nowadays. They do not take marriage seriously and end up alone.
I loved this video… your best one ever and I’m so glad you found ❤
I want to marry you ❤️
That’s what we wanna hear. REAL and AWARE
I am really enjoying this content. On so many levels It is off the beaten path. - cute really uplifting stories -luv, luv
I met my wife online and i went to her country and we got married. So YES!
honestly your videos gives me hope , on both sides
'' don't be afraid to get hurt. The worst case scenario is : you didn't try at all ''

Why no one is talking about how bad dating apps are ?
i mean, they don't try to find you a match based on common interests. its usually based on picture.
Dating apps are evil and should be banned by law.
They are intentionally bad at creating lasting matches. If you find someone, they lose you as a customer.
So that girl went out with her date along with her friends on her birthday, and she expected the date to foot the bill, and then was taken aback because he refused to pay the bill. Why the hell would he pay for all of you?
ageee I was confused by that one as well! if it’s not 1:1 it’s not a date.
I would have given her the bill too, sheesh that's crazy $300 worth of drinks
He probably didn't have a single drink which is why he gave her the bill (and probably immediately left). I like how she just conveniently left out the details.
She probably met other men who did pay
She exposed herself. She's a dinner queen.
I met my husband in an online game. But the point is that in games we kinda spend time together and get to know eachother day by day. Dating apps aren't exactly like that. It's all about validation. It's about who has the most boring profile, as the guy in the video have said, and that's very sad.
You 2 almost look like you are related! Glad you are finding happiness and peace together. All the Best!
What a sad world we live in…💔
The world is shit.

“i’m not getting matches with certain people that i’d like to get matches with, and then i take that to the real world and i’m like ‘she will never be into me, because i haven’t seen that person like me on tinder”
I feel this statement within my bones.
Luky man to find someone to love you 💕 keep loving
It’s not easy to find true love. It all by luck
Man what a good edited video, all your interviewers were great and best to you two!

I tried online dating after I was widowed 14 years ago. I realized I would never find anyone close to whom my husband was and quit. I had 24 years and the rest I will spend alone.
@ConfusedRiver-ff6lh yes

I am 39yo dude and one year ago i break with my girlfriend after 10 years together and damn dating world is totally different now. It's so difficult to meet people in real life i couldn't imagine. People are not so social especially younger they don't want serious relationships. Interesting world we live in.
Hi dear. Where are you from?
Touching video Will, loved it!
It was an option 5-15 years ago. Now it sucks
That is so accurate and poetic.. I really like it. 6:18
Great point, great suggestion.
The way youre describing it makes it sounds like youre preparing for a job interview
@@bro918 Agreed! Lol
Every guy looks like Brad Pitt and every girl looks like Brie Larson on dating apps. The fact is most people cannot accept that they are average looking. Online dating is like throwing the dice in Vegas and hoping you'll roll a 7 or 11.
People aren't friendly, in person. In my experiences. Need to be friendly to make new friends! Simple.
Good video ❤
Guys, you "met" (messaged each other) not in a date app. You are not an example of online dating, please. In that topic there is a huge difference between dating apps and "we met online".
I’ve found my true love through the internet. 2 happy years in marriage and I’m pregnant ❤
Love your videos!
zero cap, promise I'm not bitter, but online dating is extremely difficult if youre a straight man.
In a decade or two there will be robots/androids, so dont fret if you cant succeed in online dating
dope content! thanks for sharing your personal life
I think how the dating platform works makes it good or bad. Like apps like tinder is made it like a game instead of making the organic thing.
Met ex wife online in 2005, was together for 10 years, and married shy of 7 years.
I love your content bro 🤩👏
