To be honest you can use any thinner suitable for paint. (ie even the stuff you can buy from the store to put oil based paint on your doors in your house) ANY thinner that is sold can be used, and suppliers will sell you all the magic potions under the sun - but we use very cheap and inexpensive industrial thinners.
The same goes for tons of other art products. Fx wax for glas casting - I've seen it cost 3-5 times as much as the exact same wax, bought in a dairy, that covered cheese with it. Always research materials before throwing big bucks after art supliers - they earn enough on all the things, that we only can buy from them.
Please, what are you using for THINNER, I believe n the video you also used turpanoid, for the heaver cleaning. but used a different thinner in between?
Very helpful instructional video. I love the brush work. I would like to know what kind of glaze or is it a stain? I do feel like I was watching "Blair witch project " because there is too much camera movement. No focal point.
This was done 6 years ago - non profit for students. There was no rehearsal as it was done at the end of a working day. SO sorry it does not meet your requirements.
finalmente ho trovato chi dipinge ceramica, la mia passione, e lavori in batik non ne avete? Grazie, siete molto pazienti con me. Vi rigrazio. Rita Carena
Fantastic Jackie and Christine. Thanks Lisa
