This song makes me feel things that I don't know how to explain, it's beautiful, melancholy, so much more that I can't explain. A mental image that this song gives me is an afternoon drive, watching the sunset, with lots of clouds, the sky being a mix of blue, purple and red. I can't thank you enough for your music, Ian. "Seconds only pass you by, a thousand reasons for me to turn off your light" = his encounters with "her" are brief, (like any dream they feel short lived), enough reason to stop these delusions ...
Since he doesnt know whats real or not this person he meets is driving him crazy in a sense .. he wants to be free from this "craziness" of falling for someone who doesnt exist or do they? Asking to be set free ..As he knows this person is far away from him, (unknown location, since in his reality this person isnt near or exist, and only in his dreams he meets "her") asking them where they are 1:33 .. the ending of the song it ends in a very comforting, dreamy sound ... a perfect ending to the EP leaving us feeling dreamlike
Also the visuals, the way it changes from normal to Violet .. Violet being the color of crown chakra which relates to connection to our dreams and higher consciousness 🤌
