Removable Partial Dentures

Removable partial dentures are applied when the abutment teeth cannot bear the load, in cases where there are many missing teeth or when there are missing tooth areas that do not end with teeth. If there are teeth that can be used as abutments in the mouth, removable partial dentures are made. Removable partial denture is a dental and tissue supported prosthesis application. For tooth support, the tips called crochet come to the part of the tooth under the convex area close to the gingiva, and retention is provided. The tissue surface on which the denture sits provides tissue support. Thus, the force is distributed to the tooth and tissue.
