I have one of these models. Thanks for the video, very helpful. Does yours sound ok when turning? Mine screeches, but it's my first skid steer, so I don't know if that's just how things are supposed to sound. Sounds bad to me.

It did before I changed the fluid. Does it sound like it could be the belt?

Possibly. I think it is hydraulics, perhaps cavitation, but maybe normal for bobcats of this era, just have no experience with them.

I assume all the levels are good, no leaks. After that, may just be normal. Hydraulics do tend to yell at you.

Is that the same for the bobcat S 70? And what type of fluid are we putting in the chain case?

I have no info on the s70. I thought i mention the fluid i was using in the video. Did i mess up and not include that?

@@thewayididit6641 I don’t know maybe I’m flying down the road in a semi truck trying to watch videos. I think I’m supposed to put hydraulic fluid in my S 70.

Did you somehow flush the rest of that dirt out or just pour the oil back in?

I pulled up onto a hill, drained it and flushed it. I used a transfer pump to do the flushing.
After that, i drug it to where i put the gasket on.
