Because people only jump on hype trains and follow just groups that are the most popular atm. I'm not saying Exid is unpopular but some follow just top 3 groups, when their top groups are not on top anymore they just forget about them. Some just follow when they have a hit song and layer they abandon the groups. Maybe also because people want young cute concept. Not saying that they are not young but I mean groups where members are 16-24 years old and they keep coming with cute concepts. And also people don't appreciate good music. They keep complain about cute concepts but they overlook amazing concepts like Exid's.
I think a lot of it has to do with kpop girl groups first requirement being cute and innocent looking for the Korean audiences. EXID throws that idea out the window. Many groups will put out a jaw dropping sexy mv, but their live performances of the same song lack that same sexy feel, and they seem shy or awkward performing. EXID many times have an even better live performance than their mv. They seem to feed off the audience enthusiasm and give even more in the show. They are a great team, and I have noticed most of the time each girl transforms herself into a diva on stage and comes across as if the audience is only there to see them and the others are their back up... Many of the girl groups members go dead faced if they are not doing the solo and charm us when it is their turn. Not EXID... Black Pink was doing this too, but after only 5 songs put out in over two years, their live performances don't have the same energy ( most likely a little bored). Am I the only one that notices this stuff?
Maybe something like, since EXID know the feeling of being in the limelight they take each and every live performance as their last chance. Of course this is baseless speculation but you cant deny they are quite special compared to groups that did really well from the beginning.
"How Why" is arguably their best B-side from the EP its from, it has this basic white girl top down hands in the air kinda sound which i like. If they ever filmed a proper MV for this song i can kinda imagine a lot of sunset drone shots near a beach/dirt road

The ladies have asked us not to give money, or lavish gifts. I have considered starting a fundraiser, but they told me not to. They are afraid we will give too much, and leave ourselves short. They care about us so much. My advice, is just save your money, then, when the time comes, buy several album copies.
