Well done to South Africa. Playing the likes of Italy and Georgia helps to expand the game and gives the Boks a chance to test out some younger players. We actually spent a week traveling around Georgia in the summer. Absolutely beautiful country and great people. Unfortunately I couldn't find a Georgia rugby jersey in any of the 3 or 4 sports stores I managed to see. Only football shirts. Rugby needs some more marketing and promotion there I think. The games against Argentina and Australia should be very good. New Zealand away, really looking forward to those games too, but disappointed you're not traveling to Dublin . Excellent video as always and good luck in the games.👍

You’re probably right that at least one of the New Zealand matches will be at Eden Park, and the Kiwis probably won’t play the Boks in Wellington again. I was at the great 15 September 2018 match the Boks won 36-34, and they drew there the following year, and this year Argentina beat the ABs in Wellington, too. So the Kiwis now think there’s some kind of hoodoo about playing tests in the capital. (If you do go on the NZ tour, though, I still recommend a stop in Wellington; the Te Papa museum there is awesome and definitely worth a visit!)

Take your mentality of "we dont expect to beat NZ in NZ" elsewhere
I always think the boks will win no matter what

Can’t wait to watch the Bokke again in NZ. Was great to see them in Mount Smart. Hope to see them at Eden park next year. Even got Schalk Burger when he pulled up next to me at the urinal. 😂 got some good photos. 🫡

Good to warm up with Italy much like the Portugal game. Got to start playing PSD and Eben off the bench RG needs to start and head the engine room, you need a new starting lock combo. Need to start alternating Malherbe with Wilco on and off with, the tight head is key and Ireland caught Boks here. DDA and Ester flip flopping. Jessie needs to alternate Moodie. 10 the same alternate. Start seeing Siya off the bench. BJD needs to collect some caps in 25. Your wings need to throw lineouts and then you can bring back Dwebe this allows a hooker at first receiver mmm. Love the innovation..

Rassie got plenty of tricks up his sleeve, this year was to blood new talent. Next year is to build those new talents and implementing and testing the new Attacking combos and lineout moves like we've seen glimpse's of in that Aussie games.

Hopefully we play France, especially somewhere special. Italy and Georgia…..sometimes look pretty good…..but too often play below par. Should not regard Italy as pushovers though, they performed well in the 6 Nations and should have had an additional victory. Nonetheless, time to mark the calendar.

Hey Bru, don't talk about Georgia and Italy like that. We are hosting them, they are bringing their best and coming to play. Three warm up matches! Not cool. You are representing and going out to thousands. We are hosts, show a little respect.

Listen probably he hasn't disrespect Italy or Georgia. He said on their day they can beat anybody. You know Italy 🇮🇹 is not the best Georgia is OK still B group. Compare to All Blacks ⚫️ etc.

Objectively I agree they aren’t warm up games but compared to starting with a double test vs Ireland you gotta admit Italy and Georgia are more warm up games on comparison. It can matter because as a result the boks entered the rugby championship ready for war and it showed. Do you feel the same momentum when you didn’t play the second best team in the world as a starter? Well we shall see I guess. For me to even glaze Ireland slightly is a lot so you know I’m just being honest here, still Georgia can be a threat when they want to.

A truer test comes in 2025. Italy will be no pushover.

If Australia lose the lions series 0-3 by close single digit margins it would be a success RELATIVE to where they are now. Lions tours are notoriously tough and you have to be at your very vey best to prevail - I don’t see Australia getting “a couple of wins” ie winning the series. Either it will be 2-1 or 3-0 Lions.
Injuries would need to be factored into the proxy equation - the yardstick next year will be beating NZ at home-
If as some pundits claim ie. Messers Roberts and Biggar that this team is the greatest ever - then they simply have to win in NZ twice - considering NZ have done same to us and clean swept NH regularly over many seasons- it’s totally reasonable ask in order to justify the moniker.
