Thank you for playing that little melody in the beginning. Today is my second day with the NAF and it took me about a half hour to play and open up many doors on Native American melodies. Thank you sir
I discovered the "no air chamber" way of making flutes a while back. It is much easier to make and play. It directs the airflow straight into the splitter with no problems of adjusting the air flow up or down. No, it's not traditional, but it works very well. I really enjoy your videos. Michael
Great pointer on starting on the upper holes…….work the flute’s higher notes and the hands and fingers warm and loosen up. Playing base flutes are challenging but making them is really difficult to maddening
is there a typ of flute that mixes the bling, ling length of the bass flute but keep a very thin and narrow barrel like a high-pitched flute would and so will generate a very unique sound of mixing these two very opposite direction of how the air moves? what flutes would be made this way from a wood, native perspective?
while watching the video i can't help it but look at the bongos at the back They look so great. I wish we had another guy at the back who gives your performance a little bit beating with them 🙃..thanks

The Journey of Life flutes tend to be thinner than most and have a uniquely sound as a result.
Very cool video Kalani, I just got the Contra Bass Spirit Flute from "High Spirits Flutes" and its really nice. Thanks for sharing with us all.

For percussion instruction and music, see my other channel, World Drum Club. Thanks for stopping by.
The contrabass flute reminds me of a bassoon.
Hello. Do you know where I can get one of the short body flutes in Dm you mentioned. Mad Max no longer makes them.
💜
