We generally view Martin Luther King, Jr. as superhuman or extraordinary. What if we were to change that narrative and view him instead as an everyday man who did superhuman and extraordinary things? Someone who simply answered the call and did what needed to be done? How much more accessible would he be to us if we were to see him that way? What could that mean for us with regard to how we view our own abilities and approach to justice work, since we, like him, are everyday people? Let’s explore together.
