As a 33 yr. old American bro, living and working in Northwest Germany (new photographer). I am quite knowledgeable of our 1st amendment back in the States but in Germany, the privacy laws are quite different. I'm not going to lie when I say that every time I take my rig and backpack full of lenses out, I sometimes need to bring a change of boxers... just the looks, being stopped by the polizei, etc is nerve wracking... Yes mate, get to know the rules, would be interesting to see what they are. In the UK as long as you are on public property/land snap away (within reason of course lol) the way I see it if someone gets upset apologise and show then you are deleting the photo. Good luck out there ✌️

I feel for you. I'm an Ohioan living in Nuremberg and shoot almost exclusively with 200mm. Makes life so much easier. 😂
