Awesome interview!!
Besides being rock stars these sisters are smart, humble, funny and the nicest people on earth!
Viva The Warning!! ⚡⚡⚡
Can’t count how many times I’ve watched this… but there will be at least that many more😂. DPA just flowing is such an amazing experience. Always brightens the day.
Allison is such a skilled interviewer and you can tell from this video that she really cares for our favorite ladies. She really has a gift for making the people she talks to comfortable and she always gets information that nobody else ever pulls out. You can tell that DPA really enjoyed talking with Allison. ⚡⚡⚡
Ale and Pau is on discogs but Dany has said she isnt that into collecting she has a few. and if she is gifted some she let Pau or Ale have them if they love the music more. Ale has alot of vinyl as her friends buy vinyl as gifts for Birthdays etc
I love the look on Ale’s face, I was 15, when we finished our 3rd album.
That first ever show in 🇬🇧 was my first show seeing them. I got a bit emotional even though I was sooo far away from them in the seats.
Fortunately I was able to see them twice more in their own shows in the following few weeks. 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
comfortably numb is one of my all time favorites too. Great Pic Dani. They are all such nice and intelligent people. This band is everything I love about music. I'm so excited to see what comes next for them.
Hi Glenn! Great reaction and comments about the interview. I would like to hear those demos from Mayday as well!! ⚡️🤘🏼The ones they gave to David Bendeth.
At minute 5:28, “How do you say ‘inculcaron’ el amor por la música?” Pau was saying that “Our parents instilled in us the love for music”… inculcar = inculcate (instill).
These girls are golden ❤❤❤ Thanks 🙏🏼
Yes great interview Ive watched 4 or 5 times now .Allison is so good at what she does. And FunFact the 2nd interview she did with DPA made them the 1 and only 2nd interview she has done with an artist or group .
2022 Was great .Saw them May 2022 they headlined at Jergels near Pittsburgh. Than found out they were going to be in my hometown at Blossom MUSIC Center in Ohio on the Halestorm tour great show even though it almost got cancelled because of weather but it cleared up and was a great night in the outdoor venue !!
that first muse show was the time Ale fell and in show after Matt and Ale had a moment when he talked about there acsidents and showed videos so Ale felt better afterwards. such a nice group of people in Muse
I could easily envision The Modeling/Accounting & Music Law Firm of Villarreal, Villarreal & Villarreal.😊
I enjoy listening to Escape the Mind the songs were well written especially Take Me Down Dani plays the guitar with like a bass beat a really great groove.
Her iinterviews with them are great . . Even a 3rd or 4th time . . . . Interviews etc are always good to watch . .
👋🇳🇿👍twa
Thanks, Glenn and Adrian.
Both of Allison’s interviews with DPA are incredible. I can’t wait for the next one!
We did the second one first! Here's the 2nd: th-cam.com/video/9uYjapWhMdU/w-d-xo.html
@ I watched it with you. 😁 I meant the next one.
Ah yes. Me too!
Allison says isn't it a great thing to listen to an album in its entirety. Times have changed because that is what I have always done. Especially as a teenager. I bought an album and I listened to it. Still true today.
Getting back to "the way it used to be" as far as song writing is concerned, is important to the next album, as far as I'm concerned, and the way they described the "collab" writing in this interview, I think they would like it, also! Don't know why I care so much......but I do! Dany is such an "old soul"!
The truth
Great reaction! Vi esta interesante entrevista hace bastante. Muy bien llevada. Thank you!
it was fun to re watch this Glenn, gracias.
there are a couple of longish individual interviews/videos where they only speak spanish that would be interesting to check out. as far as i remember there are no subtitles and the captions are infuriating, i wouldnt mind translating them but i dont have any idea as to how to incorporate the text file and any of that tech stuff. let me know if interested ⚡
I’ll keep that in mind! Thanks!
One of the most comfortable interviews, funfact and Ale explains in the 2nd interview about talking more with Allison and not feeling she needs to stay so quiet .
I like their EP
Still one of their most entertaining interviews.
Hi Glenn, great reaction. They already went back on Alison’s show the week Keep Me Fed came out if you wanted to check that out.
Thanks Kyle, I saw that one around the time it dropped, there should be a link to it under the description!
some interviews that comes to mind. Sound Up! with Mark Goodman and Alan Light : The Warning The Warning Podcast Interview with Bringin It Backwards British guitarist analyses The Warning WITH The Warning! The Warning Interview | Creative Process for ‘ERROR’ & New Single “MORE” The Warning - Rolling Live Studios Interview with Matt Pinfield Ask4 entertainment Ep. #110 The Warning Ep. 79 | The Road The Stage - The Warning not sure if YT will keep the spaces or mess up lol but here is a few interviews at the top of my head
We’ve seen the first two at least, I’ll look into the others - thanks!
One of her Dany Day videos shows her diamond painting.
I LOVE this interview. Ale's face when the realisation hits that she was fifteen at the recording of Error (funny watching the Tidal and Mayday videos, having that in mind :D ). Her (and Pau's) shock. But than, I realise: that's from the 18 years old 🤣
Also, I know this is a panel question but kinda annoyed with it: the "what would you be"... Ale? Just finishing high school and hunting for a college.
But aside that I could absolutely see Dany as a music teacher, especially for children. And Pau recently added her answer 'director' after Q+Q :D
Oh. And Dany's little "We always hype her about her looks becouse..." -points :D (they really are, they always bring this up for this question)
The invitation to open for Muse in Mexico felt strange at the time. Everything else on that tour Muse had announced the opening acts well before the show dates, but for Mexico there was nothing, until that week before.
Supposedly, The Pretty Reckless was supposed to open for Muse in Mexico but they asked for more money at the last minute and Muse’s people said no. Don’t know how true it is but it does make sense.
Let’s take a 👁
From what I understand, The Pretty Reckless was scheduled to open for Muse on their Mexican dates. Since they had toured together previously, Rudy called their manager to offer some of The Warning team to help out in Mexico. Rudy was told that they had already decided to cancel out of the tour, so he called the promoter to offer The Warning to replace them. That is why they ended up with the gig at the last moment. The Mexico tour then led to the European tour. Rudy is the best.
Nice work by Rudy.
I think Dany's mind and mouth don't synch up fully when she is expressing a stream of thought. That happens with a lot of creative people. Probably the closest you will come with finding demos from Error, is the live performance of Martirio in Argentina in 2019.
true plus thinking in spanish and speaking in english, which i think she´s been getting better at in the past couple of years with all the practice.
All the interviews that came after that were more or less the same. Allison is really the first important person here with real quality and a feel for people and conversations. These interviews are correspondingly long. And how comfortable our 3 feel with her is proven by Ale, who has hardly ever said anything before. For the first time, she comes out of herself because she feels comfortable.
A year later, it's the same.
I think these interviews with Allison should become an annual tradition. With the topic of conversation of the past year. To this day still the best 2 interviews I have seen and I saw a lot of them.
In principle, you can see her interview and you can leave all the others.
I don't even know how to find their Discogs profiles? but would like to know.
You said it took a while for them to nail down their genre. You mean The Warning genre right?
Look at Plug in Baby live with Muse.
What’s a discog page?
Discogs is a site where you can buy and sell records. Some people also list their collections. Ale's page shows her collection - she's not selling anything: www.discogs.com/user/alejandravive2004
So do that means that they were playing out of time when they made XXI blood and QOTMS? It sure does not sound like it to me.
