Beige - the ode to old :o Great little update vid into the production process, enjoyable watch. Still kicking myself for not trying to get a Norbaforce in this colour...
It's really mostly just a question of aesthetics. In some circumstances, one or the other may be more durable to a particular type of damage (anodizing is better with a drop, powder better with a small scratch), but ultimately it's really just about how it looks and feels.

Perfect choice of music, perfect documentation of how these are coated. Can’t wait for my case this summer.
Awesome video that gives us some insight into the processes you use to make such high quality case! Thanks for sharing man!
those slo-mo b rolls look great! what camera was this shot on? amazing case by the way
Thanks! 5D Mark IV in 4k mode, mostly with Sigma 24mm Art lens but also a Zeiss Milvus macro for the shot of the fire.
Ryan Norbauer beast of a body and lens! but mostly just beautifully shot, well done man, might have to get an RF case one day!
You can go without a respirator with this paint?
It's not paint, it's power coat. And those foam walls are ventilation, so all the over spray get's sucked up right away.
Steven Phillips: exactly this. The ventilation is amazingly effective.
What are the advantages over anodization?
