Dude you should be oh so very proud. I was building 4 bangers way back in the 70's and just to get 100 HP was insane I did get 105 out of a toyota 1600cc 2TC and it was hard to do as there were no parts readily available. You guys have E-BAY and holy-shit has that opened a world of COOL. You just made 711HP on a 4 banger you need a trophy because you did it on the cheap. AS you know it is hard to do be proud brother be very proud

Preston it's 3 yr build though you don't have to have deep pockets if you take your time. I'm about 11k in my car in four years. Been waiting 5mo just to save up for the tune and small stuff.
Marcus, in his older videos he says the car was more than capable of 700+ horsepower he just didn't want to turn the power up.. This car has been a 700hp car for way less than 3 years.

the twin disc clutch is the reason, if it was bone stock it wouldn't grab at all, and wouldn't be able to get into gear

I'm pretty sure horsepower is just torque multipied by rpm so how can a dyno read horsepower, but not torque, I don't know shit about the mechanics, so I could very well be wrong.

B SERIES GARAGE his transmission didn't like the fluids he put in it before the drag strip after he switched back to the old fluids and new synchronizmesh it works fine now
First thing he does should be bigger tires/wheels, he always spins so much and bounces off the rev limiter. Not hating at all i'm a fan but with bigger tires he will be WAY faster and it will be easier on the engine.

I wouldnt chance it with that. 95% is the absolute limit on most. Just get bigger injectors and turn it up. Safer for sure. You wouldnt want to do a hit on a cold night and have the thing break.

You should be very happy with what you have accomplished. Perhaps make a Price video and ask how much you would charge for a duplicate setup. Since you know what it can do, and how to build it. You may want to consider just building motors and selling them. Keep up the good work. You are currently my favorite car show on TH-cam! I have one too, Thousanddollarcarguy. But yours is way better.

Youve managed to put down some heavy numbers for a street car, for less than what so called " from the factory" performance cars cost, which arent puttin down anywhere close to those numbers, and still easily beat them whether its at track, or in "mexico"!! Lol. Not to mention showing some love to the H22. Majority of people have hopped on the k20/k24 movement, and albeit a helluva foundation powerplant to build on, not everyone can afford them, nor the cost to upgrade them afterwards.
Majority of tuners are just like us,... And that is "It is what it is, cuzz it is what we can afford"!! But doesnt limit us from enjoying tuner life, any less either. Im on a H22 build as well in my 92 Cb7. Done a k24 with a k20 head setup first swap, back when the k series was just makin headways. I didnt like the k24 honestly. I missed the B and H series vtec crossover. The ivtec gen is nice and linear, but didnt feel that "VTEC KICKED IN YO" feeling that hooked me forever on honda life. So i went back to the F22, and did a H22 head went for the G22 setup, and finally ended on a full H22, on a 66mm Garrett, set for daily driving on 9lbs, and max tuned so far to 22lbs, but run max around 17-18 lbs when im in "mexico" for the night (lol, im in L.A SoCal, 2 1/2 hrs away from the border).
And she lays down plenty and still have some headroom, and lovin it. Im running a phareable tech done POA ecu, on uberdata and chromedata. Check em out if ur interested in other options besides hondata. Last dyno run at 17lbs put down 531hp at 447 ft lbs torque, and at 22lbs was puttin down what you were at previously 647hp and 493lbs torque. And i broke 700 just as yours after 22lbs. But gas to damn expensive in California.,... Lol.
So mad props for pulling it off with ingenuity and not spending arm and a leg, all them haters hate, cuzz theyre mad we put down numbers like these for way less than their 8 bangers, and out of 3rd the displacement, lol.
