sounds like we talking about writing an excellent CSR operation manual and then wrapping an LLM around it. Hey, if an LLM is what is needed to get an organization to write and continuously update documentation its a win. Confluence wiki has the beginnings of an LLM interface now.
Yeah agents are great and will be the tip of the spear to revolutionize work. However, I had to lol when the guy said, "If you get one thing out of this talk, it is that these agents won't replace jobs." Next he says that a person using one can do "so much more". Well. More what? More of what they do now -- but also the work that their peers are doing. So, you are consolidating the current use cases under fewer, more efficient employees. Sure, if you are able to grow the business, you may keep more folks. If. I'm not a doomer but I've seen so many productivity waves being sold inside the enterprise, and they always say your job is safe.

Not in any part of this do I mention job replacement, AI in industry does not replace jobs. Instead it gives employees who normally need years of training the ability to shorten the learning curve and advance more quickly in the organization and in their careers.
I think it's great that the AI agents are going to be used in industry and manufacturing. However I would hope that the companies would reinvest the profits in their employees instead of replacing them. I'm pessimistic about that outlook. What I imagine will happen is fewer jobs with less pay and people fighting over scraps.
What these agents are doing in industry is up-skilling workers and preserving knowledge that is lost when people retire. One of my biggest problems is trying to figure out how to replace that person with 40 years of knowledge. You can't do that in a year or even 5 years. That's where these Agents come in.
@@sebastiankukla6052What is your opinion on agentic ai being used to enhance an industrial electricians job? I maintain electrical equipment and automation in factories and I'm curious if you have any insight on what I could be prepared for? Thank you for replying.
@@franklindorrell4755 I'm not from the industry but I'll do my best to explain what I can think of. It could help by being a repository that contains extensive technical knowledge, providing you with up-to-date information on equipment specifications, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting procedures. (This can also be achieved with general purpose llms and a database, however, the agentic ai can go a step further by using this information to complete administrative processes, allowing you to focus on what matters) Another usecase that I found on this channel by Aitomatic, would work to help with real-time diagnostics - the agentic ai would be able to process information from all kinds of sensors and control systems in real-time and help in diagnosing problems.
I learned SO MUCH from this session ! Practical applications and insights ! Thanks so much
Glad it was helpful!
