Just the way that Tank & J saluted Michael B Jordan and praised him as a GOOD MAN … which he definitely deserved ! Had me tearing up! I could feel the love and respect form them . Enjoyed every moment! Wished it was longer 🤎
This is so true. So much of the convo around him revolves around that and it’s so important for Black people to see Black men being protective and honorable and not oppressive and unjust
For those wondering why MBJ is here when he’s not a musical talent, When they introduced the theory behind the show, they said they would have guests who’ve they made relationships with throughout the years, and not all of them would be R&B, but more people who’ve influenced their lives. That said, I still would have liked maybe a longer interview where Micheal spoke more on some of his musical influences, who he listened to growing up, artists he’s met or are friends with. I think that would have brought it back to music as opposed to a quickie interview that looks like Micheal was just passing by.
I agree with this as well but they mentioned at the beginning that he was just dropping by. More so on his Creed III tour. This was a benefit for all parties and he said he wanted to come back so hopefully he makes it back soon when he's not on a marketing tour.
The main thing I love about RNB MONEY is the genuine friendships and love J & Tank have with their guests!!!! No drama, no clickbait, just genuine and real conversations!!!! 🖤
The best part of this show is to see the celebs in their most relaxed mode we can see them in, not stuffy and watching every word they say. Great episode! Love Michael B. Jordan!
I love how u and Jay gave Michael B his kudos for being a good guy and told him to stay that way. Maybe they'll stop the BS of calling him corny. He's a nice young man, intelligent and handsome and it's okay to be a good guy! We 🖤🖤 him just as he is
Tank, you took the words right out of my mouth, “you are proof that good people win.” 🥺🤞🏽 Sometimes humility, respect, kindness coupled with hard work can get you farther than talent. Yes, talent alone gets you in certain rooms but how you show up, how you represent yourself, being likeable are things people often forget contribute to success. Thank you for that Tank 🙏🏽🙌🏽
I've never seen a bad "interview" from these men. You can't even call them interviews, they're just conversations. I love how these men uplift each other and every guest that comes through. Never about the drama, the personal, or for click bait. You only get insight into their careers usually with some hidden gems and belly laughs along the way. I love me some MBJ, and I love hearing of his journey even if it's not R&B related. I remember him from All My Children, and I've loved him from day 1. Tank and J always play off each other beautifully, and they always treat their guests with the utmost respect. I hope they continue for a long time, and please get my girl Brandy in there! I'm ready for that one!
I so love the brotherhood! Everyone is great in their own right. No one stealing one another’s shine. Everyone is in their own lane, congratulating one another. I absolutely love this! Need to continue seeing more of this. Congratulations Michael B. Jordan. I am so proud of you but so happy for you and your success. Keep going, keep growing and keep allowing God to let your light shine ✨. Your humbleness, realness and humanity is Awesome. From acting to directing and now working both roles in Amazing!! May God continue to bless you in every area in your life. ♥️🙏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾💪🏾♥️
I LOVE THIS SHOW!!! To see Michael B. Jordan on here and hearing these two FRIENDS say what others have said about him over the years…I know there is so much truth here. This was a good one!! Oh, and the “I ain’t sayin’ no names” was JUICY!! 😮🙌🏾❤️
This episode was both hilarious and beautiful. I literally laughed so hard. It’s so nice to Black men admiring each other in the way that they do. Michael B Jordan is amazing!! Like, what a guy!!
I loved seeing the brotherhood. It is one thing when you hear the media talking about how kind and what a wonderful person Michael is but it hit different when it genuinely comes from the people who know him personally, his friends and family. It’s a beautiful thing to see. Brothers lifting up brothers.❤
This is one of the most positive podcasts created and curated by Black men and I’m so damn proud of it. Hearing their stories and backgrounds, seeing and feeling their joy talking about music and other shared experiences. Man, this podcast brings me so much joy on my Saturday mornings. What can beat watching fine Black men talk about their love of music for over an hour?? For me, not much! 🤎🖤
No lie when I see the still for the interview… I asked myself “what the hell he sing?” 😂😂😂 but it’s dope they are expanding their audience!! 👏🏾👏🏾 he’s doing his thing and stays out the way and gone be in his bag whether is in front or behind the camera… and he’s a child star! Hardball is a classic in my world!!
Love hearing his journey and how all three are friends in real life. Did you notice a common name😏 Jaime Foxx! Keyboard is out, and you know the Top 5 is going to be major!!
This is dope , and unexpected . We need Fred Hammond at some point . The way “ commissioned “ influenced a generation of singers both gospel and secular til this day deserves a conversation . Fred Hammond was a big part of that.
I love when J and Tank bring one of their "close ones" in the building as it takes it from a podcast to a conversation among people who probably don't get to often share with the world in small, meaningful ways that remind us of their humanity. I am here for everyone who blesses us with their time, knowledge, humor, and the realness of their journey - from guests to the co-hosts! ♥
When Tank said, " You are the example that Good people win." That statement really resonated with me. Great way to give Michael B his flowers. Awesome!
I thought Michael B. Jordan had a hidden talent - no falsetto for me, but he did not disappoint! Michael B. - I still heard harmony without a song, what a true brotherhood!
22:30 “Why do you think it’s you?” - That’s an amazing, yet simple, way of asking that question. Why are you the chosen one? That’l make someone think. Very spiritual.
As a super stan I am almost ashamed to be younger than MBJ and know that he was on All My Children (I think Chadwick was as well). Seeing someone become successful after hearing all the hardship and hard work that went into it is inspiring. RnB or not, this is the life of an entertainer.

After seeing him in The Wire, his character left such an impression on me that I knew he was destined for greater things. And Fruitvale Station! Excellent work 🙌👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
This interview had me cracking up at specific spots. What made MBJ very relatable is his ability to share that vulnerable experience after gaining some popularity within his industry and realizing he had to find other forms of income in-between gigs. What a journey. Tank sliding in his #8 order and MBJ playing along almost took me out! #flatlined from laughter🤣😅 MBJ's top 5 artist was amazing, his top 5 songs literally made me blurt out, WHO THE HELL ARE THOSE PEOPLE? 🫣🙃🤣😅😂 Anyways......this was fun to watch. Great job everyone. 👏
Tank & J Valentine…how could you?? This was too short. 😊 I had a smile on my face the whole interview listening to the three of you act like old friends who haven’t seen each other in years. Then the next thing I know the interview is over. Enjoyed this so much. Pls bring back Michael B Jordan for Part 2!!
C’mon y’all chill on my guys. This was a great episode, it’s okay to diversify the type of guests they have on here. Just appreciate the platform for showcasing us black & brown folk & those alike in a positive light 🤎
I am an old dude, and I was just scanning TH-cam, and saw the Whispers and watched it. I am so happy that I lucked up and found these dudes. They have one of the Top 5 podcasts of all.
This is my first time seeing this podcast. Probably one of the most professional and articulated interviews I've seen in a long time. I love their interactions. This was very wholesome. It's such a joy to watch black men getting along, laughing, smiling, and just being able to relax and be themselves.❤
This is officially my favorite guest on this show. I only wish there was more time. But looking forward to the next time. These 3 together have a great vibe.
When i tell you it warmed my heart to hear the fella's tell there sleeping on a futon story . Its wild to rub elbows with a super star and then have to go figure out if you have a place to stay . This wasn't an interview , we watched three brothers have a get together. It seems anybody cool with tank and J and good people . Wonderful podcast , keep it up . 🤘
I love Tank is doing his thing. Maybe the other R&B people don't want to come on his podcast. Have people ever thought about that? Some people just want him to do. Maybe, he can switch it up sometimes to break the monotonous, and this was a good person to do it with. Thank you Tank, keep growing.
Appreciate this conversation a lot. It's genuine and not forced. When we getting the Breezy conversation? That should be a 2hr conversation just peeling off layers of his 20 year career through all the ups and downs. Thanks for everything y'all do for the R&B genre and community!
Very proud of Michael B Jordan job well done Sweet Sticky Thing by the Ohio Players was one of my favorite songs when I was in high school 1978 and my letterman jacket has it on the back may God continue to bless you all truly enjoy this❤🙏
Respect Michael B. Jordan. I remember you from All My Children and have followed your career ever since. (I'm telling my age now). You're an awesome actor! Continued success and blessings to you young man.💞

Mr. Jordan , you are truly AMAZING and TALENTED!!! Thank you Jay and Tank for showing that SUCCESSFUL Black Men do support other SUCCESSFUL Black Men!!!
Excellent EXCELLENT podcast! CREED III - SOMETHING SPECIAL! Really enjoyed all of it to include, the basketball talk and brotherhood! Lmfao!!! If he wanna be safe out here!!! 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 I love their chemistry & brotherhood!!! And tank always gone have me falling out laughing over something!!
MBJ is on a crazy press run. The fact that he made it a point to come here says a lot about all of their relationships. Also, they set up a part 2 up pretty easily when they left off the R&B Voltron. The next time he can talk about his r&b influences.
My very first time seeing Michael B was in the movie Fruitvale Station, and his performance touched me so much! I knew that he was something special and that we would see so much greatness from him! It's been a pleasure to watch him grow, and he deserves all of the success that he's blessed with! ❤❤❤
3:07 I didn’t jump on the Michael B Jordan train at Fruitvale station! I real deal have been watching him since I was 15. I just knew I was going to be the one to braid his hair when he was Wallace in the wire Jesus!! AND he plays SPADES!! He’s perfect for me!

I feel like Mike would probably come back and hopefully they can touch on more music then.
Thank you for explaining because I was confused as to why MBJ was there. Love him as an actor!
