After my brother gave up on building this I thought I would give it a try. This was my first time doing something like this, it looked pretty hard but you made it so much easier! Thank you!

a friend bought me this kit for Christmas and it will be my very first one. Im slightly anxious about it
This is a more challenging one. Take your time and be careful. Be sure to look ahead in the instructions to see what is coming. You could also get some simpler models to practice on first.
just started mine last night, only did the first two steps lol. I completely forgot about my clamps/forceps, and the round sticks of wood is a brilliant idea to help shape some parts. GREAT video thanks for this!

Great job 👍👌. I'm having a problem with part 22. Could blame it on impatiens but it broke. Could of used slightly more room for errors As a beginner iconix user as this model is what drew me to the product.
I hear what your saying. Since you are a beginner you should contact Metal Earth and tell them you are a beginner and broke a part. They will likely send replacement parts. Just go through their website.
Nice job. Thanks for the video. I've built most Metal Earth and ICONX kits but still have a few to go, including this one. It was interesting to watch the methods you used to shape parts. I hadn't thought of putting a 'tip' to a couple of the brass rods I use for shaping but will give that a try. A tip to consider... I use a small diamond file to bend tabs. I find I can make a cleaner bend and keep the parts together tighter than I can when trying to bend with tweezers or needle nose pliers.

I wouldn't dare argue. I ad some trouble grasping some of the angles but other than that, not too bad.

I bought this for my FIRST metal earth build. Definitely should've gone for something easier 😂
@albert fish after I got the jist of it it got easier (still challenging but fun) but I got lazy and haven't finished it yet.. lol

Thanks. I try to use music that somehow fits the kit, but I couldn't really find anything for this kit. Plus, with the length of it, I would otherwise have to piece together a lot of different songs and I didn't want to make a mess of it.

Have considered doing more ICONX kits? i would recommend the hum-vee, prob the hardest ive put together including iron man but it has some great detail
I do want to do more ICONX kits. I was not real sure what to choose next but perhaps the Humvee.
Id say thats a good one or the USS Theodore roosevelt looks really cool

This was my first ever build I I butchered it completely😭when I hold it I'm scared somethings gonna snap lol
Any advice on strengthening joints that were redone and messed up now causing movement? My kickstand is barely hanging on and I completely messed up on the front tire, not a huge deal but I want to improve the connections maybe a dab of JB weld?
JB weld might work. I haven't tried that. I have used hot glue a few times.
Danny Arana they have jewelry/ metal glue that works great, dries fast and holds well. I got it at Michaels craft store, im sure Hobby Lobby or JoAnn Fabrics would have it as well.

Can you redo or show me the wheels aka step #9 pieces 30 and 31. The pieces are just not fitting, I've gotten ahold of metal earth and they sent me replacements and still.... Nothing what am I missing here? Please help me I'm about to lose my fuggin shit here man.

god damn the handlebars fucked me up.the front panel to the attachment fucking broke and now the handle bars are touching the body

Sorry thumbs down. I enjoyed the video. Although, the harder parts of the kit you mentioned you ‘edited & skiped’ What you were doing to make the handle bars fit. Tried it, done many models, took my time. Still broke the tabs from bending. Good luck!
