I love how this song embodies the character Hakushi so well. The chaos in his mind, wanting to be the fashion standard. In his episode, I interpreted the scissors as his desire to cut reality into the shape he likes. He went from wanting to shape things into his bidding (pointing the scissors outwards and cutting all criticisms) into practicing self reflection (pointing the scissors to himself, fixing his attitude). I love his character so much.
I absolutely love just how chaotic this song is with the numerous overlay of sounds and the voices harmonizing in the background. It has a somewhat a solid melody that either slowly strays to or suddenly bombards into something distorted. It has so much going on that it seems to overwhelm your sense of pattern you'd expect from a song as it nears the end. This song by itself is fascinating to listen to because of how different it is, and this is discounting the lyrics too. And hey, in the perspective as an artist myself, creating 'art' can be alot like this song. You descend into the hole of ideas and creativity that you struggle to find or create something comprehensive. Just swimming amongst chaos and disorder of inspirations.

after i watched the picture drama, i kinda understand akihiro's aesthetic now. his whole thing is about finding comfort in criticizing others and never creating things he's afraid he get that criticism as well since he never faced failure in his development so he went back to his roots and took on more of a cottagecore devised into something so inane and "unique" as a way of comfort. at least that's what i think lol
making a song good in the first place is hard, but making a song that's bad in all the right ways yet still sounds so.. textured and awesome is really something incredible

In Japan, this high paced with many weird musical embellishments mostly categorized as Denpa song, to my limited knowledge it's a sub-genre of Experimental & Progressive music.. There's not many music producer in this sphere because there's not much people who can enjoy this type of music.. If you search for this type of music, mostly you'll find not this hectic because they need to make it more palatable to more audience.. one rising artist that come to mind is Tsubusare BOZZ, there's one also that quite known is Camellia (he works on a lot genre, and he not really making Denpa song this day, but quite a lot in the past)
