Sure, if it were about people, I’m certain it would cause some sort of comment war, but it’s not. It’s literally about hairy, large, 8-legged invertebrates. Holy Moly the male tarantula is the best-coloured tarantula I have seen on your channel so far and my favourite colour is also blue lol. The Female is good too but the male is hands down great colour combination.
I had a cobalt tarantula a few years back, they are so incredibly beautiful... and aggressive. It literally looked like it fluttered with sapphires when the light shone on it.

Even tho these videos are about tarantulas a good view of them help me with my jumping spiders, like for example air flow, if it's too humid in their enclosure they won't flourish. Also this channel helped me get over my arachnophobia, and I went and got 3 jumping spiders because of it, so thank you for that. Next I will get a tarantula.
Those Birupes are amazing 🤩 is a really rare n’expensive specie, the breeding of it are recents bc in past this specie was protected due to her rarity. Now costs around 80€/100$

What's changed in the way this tarantula has been bred/collected that allowed you to acquire one? I don't know anything about tarantulas but a search for the species indicates that its presence on the market is a result of illegal harvesting of this species in Malaysia.
@Tevok I'm not trying to make him feel bad, either! I was wondering how he feels about the exotic pet trade, whether there are ethical limits to how he selects his species. Is there something he does to make sure he tarantulas are ethically sourced, however much that's possible with exotic pets? I want to emphasize I love his videos, and I've seen most of them!

The only suggestion I have is to do the transfer in a bathroom. Bathtub is perfect..seal drain. No where for the T to escape if it flees. Sooner it later you’ll get one, OR MANY that take off and these old world Ts are lightning fast. Best way is to put the container it’s shipped in into its enclosure you made, then take the lid off. I always use every precaution I can. Fir the Ts safety and mine. I’ve never, ever been bit this way.

Ts in the Philippines are quite cheap. You can get a KBT sling for 10 to 12 dollars (500 to 600 pesos). Might be because we are a third world country
