Women usually take their man back when he cheats, but men rarely take their woman back if she cheats. This is why men don’t take relationships with most women seriously. Hard boundaries are necessary for respect and behavior modification. When wrong is done, punishment is warranted. Logic should be in the front seat, while emotions are kept in the back seat.
It's the one time men don't mind women being more emotional than "logical". Bit sometimes staying together is more logical for the kids and using the affair to re-evaluate and even renew the relationship.
But of course, this is likely to happen the other way round.

Woman are very forgiving. If the tables were turned a lot of men would kick these women to the curb okay.. these men are not putting up with cheating like we do.
Infidelity is a deal breaker for me. However I applaud DJ Envy and Gia's commitment and hard work to become a better team, because marriage is a team effort. We spend so much time and effort in planning a wedding but sometimes not nearly enough time in planning for the success of the marriage. Marriage is a covenant. However with the rise of divorce, I feel today's generation view marriage as something equal to a "return policy". If I don't like it, then I return it. DJ Envy and Gia realized that marriage is a covenant and that everyday is not going to be a beautiful wedding. Some days marriage is going to be difficult and hard. I thank God, DJ Envy and Gia decided to invest in the marriage as opposed to investing in two good attorneys.
I'm sorry but until i see men publicly, in tv shows or wherever taking back their wives after infidelity and talking about working to redeem the marriage, i will not buy into this conditioning that has been placed on women to take their cheating husbands back.

You have to show mercy if IF...IF the man is repentant. We all fall in life and we need to get up. I understand if the man refuses to change, then divorce him. She could have left ENVY and then be married 3 other times due to cheating as well. 27 years of history is worth saving because they still love each other. This is a very unforgiving world. I'm glad he changed and she forgave him.

Only God, and a lot of education and hard work on her part. It’s a Team effort with. Some things he can’t do unless we participate. Our participation is sometimes overshadowed eventhough that part is through him too, we all know people who don’t use what he gives so to say only God, I sometimes wonder how true that statement is. Just think of the parable of the talents in the Bible if you are familiar.

Envy is just so wack to me. After he had an ONGOING affair with Erica Mena, he had the nerve to try to belittle the woman...stating that she was "beneath" him, she was a "liar" , etc. Erica said he never stated that he was married, he only mentioned having kids. She was stunned when she found out because they had "been together for so long". And then blamed himself for being so insecure as to why he did what he did . Envy is just a corny dude.
I had no idea that’s who he cheated with. Men often think they can chase a women, cheat with them and then talk about them like they’re nothing. If I was the wife I know I wouldn’t care about the other women too, but, as an outsider it doesn’t sit well with me.

The literal strength of a woman....no man (or rarely) would stay with a woman if she cheated. Women are almost "supposed" to forgive and let go....it's painfully sad but damn that's strength for real.

This is beautiful to see. I’ve always said cheating is a deal beaker for me as well, because I have never cheated, but this is beautiful to see them coming back from what almost broke them.
Most men can't handle it if a woman cheats anyway.But we are expected to take y'all back and forget that ish ever happened without so much as an I'm sorry. What y'all need to do is take serious NOTE of his he is practically kissing her feet now and recognize that is the only way you'll keep her after infidelity. The point of their beautiful love story is that they were able to work together and get through it. You can't really say what a deal breaker is going to be because life happens. They appear to be in a great place now.

That's nice they can kept it together and they had more children after ward.....but I'm still stuck on Tamerons story about parasailing and falling into the water...not being able to swim and her fiance' stayed on the boat and didnt try to save her? and he could swim?.....I would have made sure that everyone knew his name after it was over.....as well as the strangers name who jumped in to save her......Wow!...that was a horrible way to find out that he was not the man to marry......talk about being broken hearted and greatful at the same time

I don't think God expects a person to continue being cheated on. Forgiveness is one thing. Staying together is a separate issue.
Beautiful! However these types of stories are common. Tamron-find a couple where the WOMAN cheated and her man forgave. That would be far more effective in getting the message of forgiveness and restoration out there.
Women ALWAYS seem to be the ones forgiving. Meanwhile, when men get cheated on it is typically the end of the world. 🙄

I find it difficult to deal with infidelity, why do people know what the right thing is to do when the wrong thing has been done. I wish people would figure it out before.I come from a long line of hurt and what infidelity can do and how that has a lifetime impact. Anyhow, good luck for the future.
