    You guys couldn't even do 30 seconds of research to accurately state what happened to Len Bias? He had a cardiac arrythmia after over dosing on cocaine, not a random seizure. This was a huge catalyst for change in the league, because at the time drug use was much more common in the NBA, and now it had robbed a young talent of all his opportunity. His tragic passing forced the league to take action and enact policies that would help prevent more loss of life.

    Things notably wrong with this video:
    - Yes, Drazen Petrovic was traded to the "Brooklyn" Nets from the Blazers ... Oof.
    - And Drazen's "luck changed on the day he died"? You think?
    - And as if the Len Bias incident came while he was simply "talking"
    - As if the death of IT's sister was only a "chip on his shoulder"
    - Also, Grant Hill played much more than 47 games with the Magic - he played 200

      not really he had many chances after new york and could never replicate his good run but i agree that melo fucked him over due to his jealousy

    • @MoNehNeh17
      @MoNehNeh17 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      thegreathutt True, but still, If Melo wouldn’t have been acting sillly, Lin wouldnt have even had to have “many chnaces after new york” he could have stayed in the city and environment that worked for him.
      There are many players that do well on one team and not so well on other teams, some coaching and management systems just don’t mesh well with sone players personalities and play styles and skill sets.

    I played against Greg when I was 15 in AAU. Man was dominant as fuck! His story breaks my heart the most cause I wanted him to be the next wilt chamberlain cause he dropped 40 something on us with over 20 rebounds and like 5 blocks

    Elgin Baylor: Never won a ring despite being one the greatest scorer behind wilt back in 60's
    Well he should've had one but he retired and eventually his team won in 1972.

    I suggest people look into the Len Bias story if at all interested because it’s one of the saddest/craziest stories you’ll ever hear. I’m not sure if the way it was skimmed over here was intentional but it definitely doesn’t do it justice. ESPN has a doc on him called without bias

    I would argue if you made it to the NBA you're pretty fucking lucky. How long you stay doesn't really matter. Your life will never be the same after you make it Pro, and will probably still have more advantage than most people in this world to succeed even without basketball.
