This bridge was at the top of my list to see in Spain and it was worth the effort to see. A few other bridges that I wanted to see were older than this one and dated back to the Roman era. Definitely on my bucket list! Sadly prisoners were pushed out of the prison door in this bridge during the Spanish civil war.
