Oh you have no idea! I couldn't find any MIDIs I liked, so I painstakingly recreated the song in a 100% accurate MIDI form before translating it over to 8-bit. This remix has probably taken more effort than any of my other ones, even Hemispheres (and that one is almost 20 minutes)!
***** Well you did an amazing job at it too! I see you are really into proggressive music as well. Everything you have covered, I am a fan of. Rush, Dream Theater, Tool, all of them.
That was your finest work yet, sir. And I've listened to all of these multiple times. Markus is right- that was a tangle of time signatures. Glad to see that not only are you continuing to branch out, but that your taste is impeccable, too. Somebody mentioned Floyd on one of these... how do you feel about Animals? Not sure if it would work in 8-bit or not, but you're certainly the man to try!
Any chance of a sneak at the sweet GP file? And I agree alot of people who put up Dream Theater and other such technical music usually get some parts wrong or dont use the correct time sig's.....the amount of metropolis Pt.1's I've seen with glaring mistakes is unreal :P
This one was so bad I couldn't breathe from laughing so hard. I lost my mind for about 10 minutes. th-cam.com/video/nHQ9UR2YsXQ/w-d-xo.html It's bad, then it's fine, then BAM, diminished chord where a fucking 7th chord should be. The drums are hilarious as well.
+Yali Shanda This wasn't Famitracker, actually. It was first charted out in Guitar Pro (so I could make it accurate), and then brought it into FL Studio before slimming down the melodies and applying the sounds.
Damn this is perfect for a final boss
OH SHIT YES!
2:06 this is so iconic
2:05 I WANT A GAME WITH THIS MUSIC NOW
A giant spider appears
Actually makes me think of Castlevania. Man I loved that game!
Sounds like its a boss' stage in nintendo games :)
Wow, handling the different time signatures must have been quite a pain, considering how Famitracker works. Great job man.
Just about any metal song 8 bit sounds perfect for a boss battle
This must of taken forever to make.. O.o Them time signatures..

¿Any chance of sharing the Midi files?
I like how you actually have it 8bit when most call it 16bit
2:06 = Castlevania!
Exactly what I thought, too!!
This is most definitely a Castlevania Final Boss theme. Many a Belmont banging their heads.

This beautiful
holy shit flick
Wow awesome job! Amazing!
Sounds perfect!
im in love
This might be better than the original because this kind of music sounds normal in chiptune.
Maybe this song is less weird in this form :D Especially the first two minutes, feels really great.
Amazing work!
Amazing !!!!!!!
Absolutely Insane! Awesome job!
Is it just me, or some parts sound exactly like the original?
That's what I tried for! :)
@@adam-gould How did you made this? It is so cool!

Legend of Kage, you're welcome :D

you great man. ;)
Play it at 1.25X speed and it is the perfect boss theme
I reckon it's good as it is, also, the faster passages would sound a tad too quick.
I want the mp3! Please
So is this the final boss soundtrack to where Julian kills Victoria?
Have you arranged this yourself in Famitracker? It's amazing if you've done that. Your covers are amazing! And those are all my favorite bands!

Oh, I see, great work!
it would be really tedious to pull something off like this in famitracker with the frame lengths and whatnot and the constant shifting time signatures
dam
Fucking Castlevania lmao
100% on the money with this comment!
Pac man in 7/8
