I've been taking this 2 weeks and the times I have the side effects are when I go over the recommended fat per meal. I should clarify I am taking Alli that is OTC. I am down 5 lbs and in my 60's I will.take that. No other side effects and I really like that it hasn't caused any heart related or anxiety issues which can happen with some other weight reduction drugs.
Only take if you have easy toilet access. You will be in the bathroom within an hour of each meal. Make sure you have a toilet brush and toilet cleaner. I put rolled up toilet paper back there as a precaution because you can never trust a fart. You will end up with a tablespoon of Costco pizza oil.
I had a wonderful experience iñ my 50s,. Size 22 to size 10 in 7 months. I was active and very careful about what I ate. Should have hàd a maintenance dose. Am 76 now and trying it again. I have some medical problems like hígh blood pressure and must lose weight. Nothing is happening, I'm not super low fat meals but have cut ¹/2 fat now. I'm not active. I'm in a wheelchair. What can I do ? I'll do anything
@@valoriefalorie4223when there is no fat in your meal, why would you take Orlistat to begin with and why should your stool be loose if Orlistat taken? My total daily fat intake is less than 15g per day spread through the day. I only take Orlistat when I am invited somewhere and sort of forced to eat typical meals. It works like a charm!
I was waiting for the side effects part 😅 ..im on xenical and boy its bad, im actually keeping to a low cal low fat diet but its still bad,i work remote 3 days a week thank god but the 2 days a week i have to go to the office i am nervous , kinda cringe but i wear sanitary wear when im out of the house just incase, you can have discharge and not realise, its the most illuminous shade of orange too 😅... its working though so im not going to stop just yet ..
I am trialing xenical . I am watching this because I am getting wind, and not trusting my farts. Nothing severe, but you know what I mean?? However I want to lose 15 kg. I am walking the tight rope. So far I’m down 2kg. If I wasn’t restricted with my exercise because of chronic back problems, I wouldn’t need this and be exercising 1.5 hours a day. This has been informative.
Hmmm I work from home. So I’ll gamble with the fart situation. I recall trying it a long time ago and was so afraid of pooping myself I ate super low fat and lost weight anyway but I was so hungry. So I’m going for it again. I have some alli in my bathroom that I bought and never took. Todays the day. ❤💩🚽
I was in the study back in 2002 and lost 10 lbs in 2 months. I went off it and kept weight off for over a year. I couldn’t remember the name of the drug but always wanted to go back on it. This year My daughter used it at 38 yrs lost 30 lbs over 3 months. It isn’t horrible but you’re on the toilet if you eat fat. The idea is that you stay away from the food that might cause toilet “runs” (like that one?). It’s not the easiest but for my daughter and myself it works the best, better than Ozempic for me. I’m 63 , high blood and cholesterol, pre-diabetic. I cannot afford to lose any muscle mass so no Ozempic for me!
This is silly. The oily diarrhoea and leakage is an indication you are eating way too much fat. Stick to around 15g of fat per meal and absolutely no side effects, maybe a little gassy on day 1-3. I'm on day 3 and no problems whatsoever! Start weight 76kg, will let you know where I get to in 3 months.
Ugh 😑 my mom was on this for years. Regardless of what she ate, she would pop a Xenical. Cue disgusting greasy poo rings in the toilet pretty much constantly (which she wouldn’t clean up after taking a dump).
There is, but it's proven inefficient for weight loss, although it helps with blood sugar management for diabetics. It's called Acarbose. Buy the way Asians eat the most carbs (rice and noodles in particular) and have the least obesity, so carbs are not the culprit.
or if you are are going to have a cheat meal, or fried food with alot of fat and you want offset some of the calories...just wear a diaper or have to stay home.

Fiber may help!
How about it you increase the amount of fibre in your diet (or take supplement) alongside Orlistat? Wouldn't that offset many of the digestive issues?
Unfortunately, fiber is only mildly effective

Idk if you see this but how it goes? I started this Monday and looking forward to see results !

Hi
I am taking xenical and now it's 3 weeks
Actually I found that I look more obese than before.
Lol
How did you get on
*I took xenical after 3 weeks gained 1kg despite eating very little fat.*
Eat less calories not necessarily less fat
Is there a version that block carbs?
DNP

What alternatives is best ?
It always gives me a headache, jaw pain just hurting all over but worse in head/jaw/neck
I was thinking about taking Xenical, and thanks to you, I will not take it now.
What if I take Xenical and Saxenda at the same time? (I suffer constipation from my current Saxenda regime)
can you still lose weight on xenical without dieting and exercising
You can lose weight doing anything as long as you are in a calorie deficit.
If your not watching your diet while your on this you will just end up spending the day on the toilet .
I guess it’s most effective if the person sticks to a low fat diet all the time .
or if you are are going to have a cheat meal, or fried food with alot of fat and you want offset some of the calories...just wear a diaper or have to stay home.
Anything to get off Chips
I lost a stone and a half in a month
