Our dad was a Navy chaplain for 30 years and was with the Seabees on a few ships and on a cruiser (Topeka) and aircraft carrier (America) We spent most Sunday mornings (chapel services) and early afternoons on board while they were in port. We could get you from one end of the ship to the other. I miss it and it has be several years. We even lived in San Diego for awhile. Hubby was a Marine Corps pilot. Military life was a way of life from the time I was in first grade through married life. It looks like Madi had a great ride...beautiful scenery! I am so glad you got to get out there for her graduation and spend some time away as a family, too.
It was so cute when Daniel said he wss going to shoot Madi out of a cannon.That. cracked me up.So funny.Your a good uncle to all the kids.So cool to have a aunt and uncle like you all.
I was blessed to tour the USS Enterprise back in '75. Talk about massive. I'm an old bike woman. It is so freeing. Seeing Madi enjoying it made my heart fill with joy. I love you guys. Stay Blessed.

I chose the San Diego Wildlife Zoo to tour. I needed to see me some Tigers they have there. Our cruise ship was docked right next to the Midway. I think we would have enjoyed the Midway tour as well. So I know exactly what you're talking about with all the helicopters you're seeing whilst on your catamaran. I saw them too!!! Quite something to see so many at once isn't it? Kudos to Madi for getting on the Harley. You two sure got to show us some amazing & beautiful San Diego country side.

I went from riding in front of my dad to growing up and being big enough to ride on the back. Been way too many years since I’ve been on a bike. And what great country to be riding in. My daddy was in the Navy, I was born in the naval hospital across from Balboa Park. (40 years ago ahem).
Hahah I am playing catch-up, ha ha I love that you said oh so you take new roads with Madi he only did that because they got lost, I guess the thing is if you take a new roads and he most likely get lost and you don’t know how to get back so.
