This channel has been such a lifesaver! I got my Nelson off of someone rehoming him through Facebook about a year ago and I had always wanted one. (I have dogs and cats and have had MANY other types of animals in the past) So I thought how hard can it be? Boy was I wrong. I had an incident last winter where my baby went into hibernation and I had a meltdown. Luckily I was able to pull him out of it and get proper heating. There's still all kinds of things that I'm learning everyday. Nelson is typically on the grumpier side most of the time but he has his moments lol. I'm the only person he allows to handle him and that's typically after I allow him to wake up on his own. They are such marvelous little creatures. Thank you for sharing your experiences and knowledge because I can truly say it's saved me and Nelson a few times. :)

The whole setup ran me about $60 but it's worth it because I can completely control the temperature down to the last degree.
