So I installed this hair on April 2nd, birthday trip to Belize for 6 days- swam almost every day! . Let me tell you I was afraid this hair was not going to make it but it held up beautifully. Listen, all crochet hair tangles. Learn how to detangle and restore. My styles last 6-8 weeks and still look great! Thanks Indya this is my new look...So much male attention when I installed this one ooooowee lol
Glad I read this comment. Prepping for my bday trip to Belize in 3 weeks and wanted a quick hairstyle debating between this curl pattern crotchet style or bohemian braids.
Olive oil and water spray and a big brush with get rid of Matty areas. Brush it while wet. I keep my style for 2 months. Make sure to keep scalp clean. It looks more natural the more it's worn.

New subbie. I love your hair. I have similar hair in my head now (Go Go Curl) I saw a hack where you mix Downy Fabric Softner and water and decided to try it with this install.....OMfreakin'G. It has kept the hair nice and soft and have kept frizzies to a minimum. I even let it go for about 3 days using plain water and it got frizzy and started stiffening up. Started back with the mixture and it's back soft (almost a human hair feel) Hope this helps with your next install...Love your vids.

how do you wash your scalp with crochet in? i want to be able to wash my hair weekly without it looking a hot mess for a good month-ish.
I don’t wash my hair while I’m wearing crochet. If you want to, just make sure you focus on your scalp bc shampoo will likely Matt the crochet hair
