It's hard to see your braid pattern. It looks crisscrossed and then it looks just straight back. Please advise which is correct. Thank you!

The smaller the pieces the better. I did this a few weeks ago and my pieces I split 3x's in the front did not move a bit. But come to think of it.....I had no slippage with my entire head. But again...the smaller the better💜

Why can't I cornrow😭 When I do it, the braid goes inward. It looks like a zipper if that makes sense🤷🏽🤦🏽
You’re doing a french braid.. your hands go upward if you can get what I’m saying. For cornrows, your hands should go down as you braid
Do u ever get weaker edges or missing edges from crochet styles?
Any hairstyle can cause damage if not done the right way OR gently. As long as you don't cornrow too tight your edged should be fine.

Try back combing... because we can still see all of your braids in the front. Crochet looks more natural when you can't see the braids.
Back combing looks ridiculous honestly. It makes the crochet look like an old lady’s wig. This looks young, and flirty.
